It was the day of my coronation. Jane helped me into my dress, which she described as 'absolutely amazing and Princess worthy.' I think she was exaggerating. It was just a plain black dress with lace covering the sleeves and edges.
"Oh my gosh! You look so amazing! And-"
"Princess worthy. I know. You said it for the last ten minutes." I said rolling her eyes.
She playfully slapped my arm and giggled. After smoothing the last ruffle, she took a step back and looked at her masterpiece.
"There! You look perfect!" She squealed.
I laughed and nodded.
"Thank you Jane." I smiled.
"Alec and I will escort you down the aisle and your father will take over from then on." She explained.
I nodded as Alec came in without knocking.
"Well rude much?" Mumbled Jane.
I suppressed my laughter.
"You look amazing sister." He said, gently kissing the top of my hand.
"As do you brother." I returned the compliment.
"Let's go. We don't want to keep everyone waiting." Said Jane smiling.
Alec opened the door for me and bowed as I walked out. Oh dear. Here we go again.
