Disclaimer: I do NOT own Percy Jackson, nor RWBY, Rick Riordan and RoosterTeeth respectively do.

Percy's POV:

I slowly opened up my eyes and found myself in a bed. I groaned slightly as I turned to my side, my whole body flaring in pain as I did so. However, as I turned I heard a small gasp from somewhere around me, I then heard a door shut as well as footfalls as someone ran down a hall.

'Great, now I'll have to talk a lot' I thought to myself mentally as several minutes passed and the door opened once again only this time it was two voices instead of just one

"I swear father, he's awake!" a woman said as the two people walked in

"I don't think he's quite up yet dear, come on, we need to get ready for the day" An older man said with a gruff voice and I sighed mentally as I turned over again

I then attempted to sit up despite my body screaming in pain. When I was sitting up I slowly opened my eyes to see a man with horns standing at the door while a young girl with white fox ears on the top of her head stood next to my bed staring at me.

"Uh... hi...?" I said uncertainly

The man smiled warmly with a spark of happiness in his eyes, he opened his mouth to say something when the girl squealed and jumped onto the bed and looked at me with crystal blue eyes.

"Hi! My name is Reyna, but my friends call me Raya! That's my dad Hector!" She says quickly causing me to back up slightly

"Easy now Reyna, give the boy some space, he just woke up from a three day coma" Hector says causing me to start coughing

"Wait what!?" I said incredulously "Three days?" I muttered more to myself as I looked down at myself to find myself shirtless "Uh... do you guys have any clothes I could use for the time being? Or if I have any left?" I ask with a slight hesitation

Reyna giggles slightly but Hector just smiles and nods as he walks out of the room for a moment only to return with a plaid shirt and a pair of blue jean like pants. Reyna and Hector then walk out as I stand up slowly and get dressed. Before I put the shirt on, I placed my index finger and middle finger on my heart and made two X's, one on top of the other before drawing a line through them. I smiled as the protection rune took to my skin, causing it to glow slightly before fading leaving a faint blue mark of the rune. I then put the shirt on and finished getting dressed using a pair of boots that were in the room along with some socks. I quickly checked my pocket and smiled lightly when I felt the familiar pen form of Riptide in my pocket.

"Good to see that you're still my constant companion" I said quietly to myself as I turned toward the door and walked to it and opened it

On the other side was Hector and Reyna waiting patiently.

"So, the dead men walks?" Hector says light heartedly

"Would seem so, which puts me in some interesting company" I comment causing Hector to laugh slightly "Did I have anything else on me when you found me?" I ask as I grimace from the pain in my body

"You had a duffle bag of camping supplies, and an empty flask, nothing else" Hector said as he led me through the building

"Ahh, thank you" I said as we reached a room off to the side and I saw what I had in terms of equipment

"I kept it away from you just incase you had any... plans to wake up and kill us all" Hector said seriously and I chuckled

"Smart idea" I admitted as I grabbed the supplies and attached the flask to my hip and smiled "Well, I should be off, I don't want to burden you folk much longer" I say honestly but Hector crosses his arms and raises an eyebrow

"And just like that? No thank you, no favors done for me since I saved your life?" He says and my opens in a silent 'Oh'

"Sorry, is there anything you need?" I ask as I put the bag down

"Yes, actually I need help with my shop, I'm very behind on orders since the whole, mysterious man in the woods near town caught my daughter's attention" He says and I nod as he leads me away from my stuff and towards an exit

We walk through the door and into a blacksmith's forge, something that put me at ease.

"I assume you at least know your way around the forge?" He asks and I smile as I pick up a hammer that was very well made

"I know a few tips and tricks" I said cryptically as the hammer felt wrong in my hands "But if I am going to help you, I need to make a hammer that fits my tastes" I say and he rolls his eyes but nods

I keep hold of the hammer and move over to the forge and find that it's a simple coal forge, something that I had to learn while visiting the Nordic pantheon back on earth. I smiled as I lit the forge and started heating up a chunk of steel. As the steel was heating up, I moved over to the anvil and inspected the piece of equipment and smiled.

I grabbed the pair of tongs that were laying nearby and walked over to where the block of steel was currently at. I looked around before grabbing onto the bellows and pumping them several times to keep air flowing through. When the fire was decently stoked, I used the tongs and pulled out my steel to see it starting to glow, I smiled as I put it back into the fire and made sure I had the rest of the required tools necessary.

Hector's POV:

I watched in awe as the boy that my daughter had found lying half naked in the woods, moved about the forge as if he owned the place. A small smile on his face the entire time as he prepped his metal and tools, making sure they were all in the correct place. Then as he used the tongs to grab his heated steel I heard him humming. I was about to ask him what he was doing when he quickly pulled his steel out of the forge and placed it onto the anvil and started hammering away.

With every swing I understood what this boy was doing. He was creating a beat so that he could continue to forge for longer periods of time. I chuckled to myself at the idea being so simple I didn't quite understand it at first. However, as the forging process went on, his beat didn't shift, if anything it became more complex, the sound of the crackling fire, the ringing of metal on metal, the bellows blowing air. Everything seemed to be working together to create a sort of symphony as this unknown man forged his own hammer.

After a few hours, the man had finally quenched his hammer head and made his handle. I was sitting watching him move about the forge with the skill of a master smith but he only looked eighteen. As the man finished assembling his hammer and making sure it wouldn't fall apart, I stood up and walked over.

"I forgot to ask your name, what might it be?" I ask and he looks at me and smiles

"Percy Jackson" He says calmly as he polishes his hammerhead with a cloth

"Well Percy, where did you learn to forge like that?" I asked and he smiled sadly

"A friend who's no longer among the living taught me the basics, I learned the rest from some people I visited but it was mostly my friend" He said as he flipped his new hammer in his hand "So, what shall we work on first?"
