John starts to act like he has stomach aches because of the joke on me, and fails to stand upright for about a minute. Then they both stand maturely in front of me still cracking up a bit in between.
"Well, what brings you here Natalie? Was uncle invited in or was it some shady relative, because trust me I don't find this place to be for teenagers like us!", I said.
She laughs back at me, "I know right, matter of fact John and I were just talking about the useless things in this party, especially that chocolate fountain; I mean come-on half of the people here probably have diabetes!"
"True, add to that they are talking about stock prices and mutual funds; things that are beyond my point of sanity.", John added.
I gestured John to come to the side, "Hey Natalie, do you mind if I have a word with John for a minute?", I asked politely.
"Oh, that's quite a bummer! You guys see each other like EVERYDAY! What is it that you guys talk about?!", she exclaimed.
"I won't hold him for long women.", I laughed.
"Better not. I don't want to be left alone and be forced to talk to some old couple!", Natalie added.
I pull John to the side towards the chocolate fountain so that we don't seem suspicious to the crowd, I mean who's going to get intimidated by teenagers having ice-cream?!
I picked up a cup and took and scoop of vanilla ice-cream and then turned around towards John,"So? What's the intel?"
John plays around with his spoon and hovers his hand over the variety of flavours available and then says,"I've found him."
"Found who?", I asked while pouring hot chocolate from the kettle and over the vanilla ice-cream.
"Sylvester.", he added.
It took me moment to keep the kettle back and then I made eye contact with John who looked a bit off than usual, it seemed like something was bothering him. Nevertheless I asked, "And? Where is he? Did you speak to him in disguise?"
The guy just walked away from the chocolate fountain and sat on a nearby table, weird? Not so much, I mean it's only so much a man can do to look sane while trying to munch on his dessert! I sit down on the other side of the small round table and wait for him to speak, which thankfully he did.
"So promise me you wouldn't freak out on what I am about to say.", John asked.
I was a bit put off with his choice of words but then again it's better off that I let the guy speak in his way.
"Yeah, I promise. Go on now.", I reassured.
"Well, it seems that the name Sylvester isn't actually a name of a person after-all..", he said.
"Ugh, then what is it?", I asked in confused tone.
"It's a pseudonym.", he added.
"Aaah, makes sense after-all this guy is supposed to be Criminal.", I smirked.
That made John a little uncomfortable, which was a matter of concern now. So I stopped eating my ice-cream and kept my hands on the table and looked at him in the eye and asked,
"Is everything alright pal? You seem to be shaken by my previous comment."
The guy took a pause and then let out a big sigh, "Apparently Anthony Uncle is Sylvester...."
I blinked twice, CLEARLY. Both the times making sure that I didn't break eye contact with John to see whether he would let out a laugh and say that "It's a prank bro!", but no the guy just gave me dead stares.
