For as long as I could remember, I have always worn glasses: the same chunky dark black frames with thick lenses.
My parents would always check up on me to make sure I was wearing them to the point that I just formed the habit of the jinxed glasses constantly being perched on my nose.
Every single picture of my childhood - to the present- consisted of them.
Granted, these glasses were making my eyes weaker to the point I heavily relied on them.
Without them, everything was blurry.
So why question it when they help me to see? But I should've questioned it- a long time ago. But it is too late now because I found out why Mum and Dad made me wear glasses- to protect me from the truth. The truth of what I could see.
Now people are coming for me. I have written everything down for you Sophia and Marcos. I'm so sorry I broke my promise. Please read everything so you know why I left. Please don't hate me for the things I've done in the past, but you'll understand. You'll understand everything if you both just read it. I know how stubborn both of you are but I'm begging you, please. Keep yourselves safe and out of trouble and do not come and find me. I don't want to see you guys dead. Promise me. Don't forget I love you both very much. Take care of yourselves.
Love, Ariana x
(p.s. Sophia, please destroy my phone and Marcus, hide all the photos and documents in the basement under the frid - I have to go, I love you both so much x
