My dad really thinks he going to make me go to this dinner, it's not happening and Dina and I have the perfect plan. Well not perfect but it will work. It's going to be painful but I rather be in pain then meet these people. "Gia!" Dina hollered in a hushed tone. I looked over to her and she handed me the pills. "Gia, I expect you to be on your best behavior. I know this is hard but i don't want this to be any hard than it already is." My Dad said as he walked into the room. I rolled my eyes. "Go start getting ready. We leave in three hours." He demanded. "Whatever." I huffed. I stomped upstairs and sat on my bed. "You should probably take those now. They take a while to work." Dina said as she quickly passed my room. I went into the bathroom and got a glass of water and took the laxatives. Yes I know that's gross but it's the only thing we could think of!

It was an hour before we had to leave and I could feel them kicking in, "mom!" I whined. She was quick to get up the stairs and to my room. "What's wrong Mia figlia?" She asked worried. "My stomach hurts." I whined holding my stomach. "You're just nervous babygirl," She said holding my face then I felt it. "Oh no!" I hollered getting up and running to the bathroom. "Gia!" My mom hollered and then she heard what I was doing. "Marco! She's getting sick!" My mom hollered. "Are you kidding me?!?" He freaked. I could hear him stomping up the stairs to yank me out of the bathroom then he heard it too. "Oh." He said. "She can't go like this." My mom whispered. "Well we can't reschedule!" My Dad said. "Marco were just going to have to go without her. At least we can meet him." She sighed. "Joes going to be pissed." He said. "Joes already getting his way. He can deal with it." She said with an attitude. "Fine. Feel better baby girl." My Dad said. I honestly felt horrible and will never do this again but the plan worked. ADELE'S POV (Gia's Mother)

I was nervous to meet this man, I silently prayed to God the whole ride there to let this man be a gentleman and someone my daughter could learn to love. "I'm scared Daddy, they shot at me!" Dina hollered with tears. "I know babygirl, I know. I'm sorry." Marco said with so much guilt. "Momma." Dina said as she began to cry. "We can do this babygirl. We have to be strong for Gia." I told her. She nodded with tears. "It still hurts." She said referring to her wound. "Dina stop crying and be strong for our sister." Joey said rolling his eyes. "Shut up!" She hollered. "Stop it." Marco warned. "We're almost there." He sighed. "Have you ever met him?" I asked Marco. "I've met everyone but Michael." He said as we pulled into their driveway. "Be on your best behavior guys. Please." Marco told the kids. We all got out the car and their house was absolutely beautiful. (Hayvenhurst). "Come on guys." I said grabbing the twins hands. Marco went in front and knocked on the door. "Hi, you guys must be the Romano's," this sweet young lady said greeting us. "Hi Rebbie, may we come in?" Marco asked. She nodded letting us in. "I thought Gia was suppose to come?" She asked. "Gia has the flu." I answered. She nodded understanding. "Marco!" A man greeted round the corner with a smirk then it quickly faded. I'm guessing this is Joe Jackson. "Where is She?" He asked unpleased. "Gia was getting really sick, she wasn't able to make it." I said. He shook his head, "this is unacceptable." He told Marco. Marco shrugged, "I can't make her come, she couldn't leave the bathroom. I'm sorry joe." He apologized. "Well come meet the rest of the family. Michael should be here any minute." He said guiding us to the kitchen that was just magnificent! "Kate." Joe said. "Oh Hi!" This older woman greeted as she cooked. "Janet take over for me for a minute." She told the younger girl. She washed her hands and greeted us. "It's very nice to meet you guys." She said softly shaking everyone's hands then giving me a hug. "Sorry, I just know this is hard for you as it is for me." She said. I gave her a confused look. "Kate." Joe warned. "Sorry, would you ladies like to join me in the kitchen?" She asked me and Dina. "We'd love to." I replied. I grabbed Dina's shaking hand. "It's okay babygirl." I whispered to her. She nodded. We entered the kitchen and I told Dina to hang out with Janet, and I went with Kate. We cooked for a minute then I couldn't help but asked Kate what she meant when she said this was hard for her. "Kate if you don't mind me asking, why did you say this was hard for you?" I asked softly. She looked around for Joe, "Joes blackmailing Michael. He's forcing Michael into this marriage too." She told me. "Oh." I replied. "Mom?" A male voice called through the house, "in here Michael!" She hollered. My heart started to race, I looked over to Dina and she was nervous too. "Where is everyone?" He asked again as he entered the kitchen. He instantly made eye contact with Dina and I, "What's going on?" He asked confused. Kate sighed. "This is Gia's Mother and sister." She told him. He stiffened up, "oh." He said. "Gia wasn't able to make it. Joe was going to have you guys meet today." She told him. He nodded, now he was nervous too. "Why don't you set the table Michael." She suggested. He grabbed the plates she handed to him and disappeared quickly. "Mom why is Joe making them do this?!" Janet hollered upset. "I don't know Janet." Kate replied. "I don't like seeing Michael like this. He just started being happy again." She said sad. "I know sweetheart." Kate sighed. There are way to many questions going through my head. Dina came up next to me and whispered "at least he's attractive." I nodded agreeing. "Alright all this has to go onto the dining room table." Kate told us. We all carried a dish for the table. "I'm going to go hang out with Michael!" Janet said then running off. "Are they close?" I asked Kate. "Oh so close. Michael is her favorite brother and everyone knows it." She smiled. I nodded looking down just so lost. I felt Kate's hand on mine, "I know nothing will put your mind at ease but Michael is a gentleman. He won't hurt her." She said. I nodded, "thank you Kate." I said softly. She gave me a soft smile. "I'll get everyone," She said then leaving. She came back with all the boys including the rest of her sons. Dina grasped my hand tight. "That's the one who shot me!" She whispered pointing to one of the boys. "It's okay. I promise." I told her. She quickly ran to her dad and held onto him. "Wheres Michael?" Joe asked. "I'm right here." He sighed entering the room. "There's the groom to be!" His brother hollered pushing him around but he was quick to brush them off. He did not find this amusing either. "Your bride to be is sick so she couldn't make it." Joe told him. "I would've played sick too if I knew you were pulling this shit." He replied. "Michael." Kate warned. "Michael this is Gia's father Marco." Joe said. Michael shook Marcos hand, everything was so awkward. "Let's sit." Kate suggested. We all sat, Kate and rebbie served everyone. "Kate this food is amazing." I complimented. "Thank you Adele." She smiled. "So What all do we need to discuss?" Kate asked Joe. Joe shrugged. "I think we have everything handled. Marco just has to make sure Gia shows up." Joe said. Marco nodded, "she will be there." Marco said. "Does she have her dress?" Joe asked. "Yes we are picking it up tomorrow." Marco answered. "The only thing is if you guys want a reception." Joe said. "No, no reception." I answered. "Why?" Marco asked & I just gave him a death glare. " this wedding is going to be hard enough." I said. He nodded. "There shouldn't even be a wedding." I heard Michael mumble. "Michael," his mother said. The dinner was mostly silent and awkward. Kate was so sweet and tried her best to make this dinner sociable. Michael and his mother got up and got our plates. Dina was off with Janet and Joey was hanging out with Randy I think his name was.
