Dana Harris' POV
"Dana, get up! You got school!" My brother yells from the other side of my door.
I open my eyes and stretch.
"I'll be down soon!" I yell back groggily.
I get up and limp a little to the bathroom.
Last night's training almost killed me!
I don't think I have ever been winded so hard by one person.
And that person is my brother.
He wants me to be the best.
Like him.
Ruthless. Cold. Intelligent.
So if it means showing me no mercy, then that is what it will take.
I do my morning routine and then stomp down to the kitchen.
I dodge the toys on the floor and greet my other 'siblings' in the home, giving them all hugs or a kiss on the forehead.
I snatch up my little brother, Mike, before he can put another god forsaken object in his tiny mouth.
"Danny!" He squeals, offended at the fact that I stopped his little adventure.
He tries to fold his little arms and he pouts at me.
I smile at him.
"Good morning Mikey" I chuckle and he breaks into a small smile.
I kiss the top of his head and carry him to the breakfast table.
Just as I do that, our adopted mom, Maya, dashes past me.

"Chris! Get yo ass back here, now!" She yells, running around the kitchen, armed with his school shirt and a slipper, in case he slips up.
I chuckle.
