Turns out Finn was going back to his old family home for a while with his parents, and Jess was moving in with her older sister. When they asked me what I had planned I just shrugged and said 'I'll have to wait and see.' After saying it I smiled at Riles.
"What about you Ri? Where are you going now?" Jess said taking her into her arms. Over the past two years we had all grown super close- it was understandable that she was worried about where to go.
"I don't know..maybe I'll see where my other old school friends are living, or maybe I'll find a room to rent for cheap. If not you'll probably see me living on the streets" she laughed slightly. I got a little jealous when Finn wrapped her in a tight hug, but I knew he was just comforting her.
They soon broke away when his phone began to ring.
"Yeah I'm on my way" he spoke through the phone. Everyone looked gloomy when they realised that this was really it.
"Keep in touch yeah? Maybe we will get time for a reunion in a bit" Jess said to him. Apart from Riley and I, we all loved in totally different areas. Most people wouldn't believe in the idea of us getting to reunite, but I think all four of us would keep hope...
It wasn't long after Finns departure when Jess was saying goodbye too. Her and Riley were both crying and promising to call every day. It was bittersweet- you make these new friendships and get used to seeing one another every day, to possibly never seeing them again.
After she had left I held an emotional Ri in my arms until she stopped crying. Kissing her temple, I smiled a little.
"I still have the surprise remember." She nodded, seeming to instantly feel a bit happier.
I managed to get off the couch and walked over to the kitchen units. I reached my hand up and pulled out what I needed, and had been hiding up there for a few months before.
"What is it?" Riley giggled excited but nervous.
I put my hand out and unwrapped it.
"Keys?" She questioned confused.
"I bought an apartment...two bedrooms, a balcony...it's not far from our hometown."
"Congratulations James, that's great" she smiled happily.
"Yeah...well I was actually wondering if maybe you'd want to..move in with me?"
After saying those words it felt as though my whole world had stopped. I watched as her head tipped up to look at me, and thankfully she smiled.
"That sounds nice and all, but it's yours...don't you want to have the chance to live alone?"
I knew where she was coming from...but
"I don't want to live alone. I want you, Riley Raymond to be my girl and live with me. Living alone would be boring" I chuckled.
"Your girl?" She said blushing. "You want me to be your girl?"
I nodded at her happily. "Would you like that? To make us official?"
She leapt into my arms and hugged me to the point that I could barely breath. I smiled knowing her answer, but I smiled even more after hearing the words.
"Of course I'll be your girl. And James, id love to move in with you..."
I kissed my now girlfriend passionately on the lips. I was excited about the new start for us. I never believed it myself, but apparently people can be perfect for one another.
Even if that is the player and the nerd

Aaah and that's the final chapter!! I can't actually believe that I got around to finishing this book! It do feel as though it was a bit rocky, and not as well constructed as I had originally planned it to be but I finished it for you all and I'm so glad!
Also for anyone wondering, no there won't be a sequel and probably no more books on here from me either. But if you did like this then I would suggest voting and following so that you're kept updated.
Thanks so much, I love you all! Byee
