"Beth!?" James yelled across the room. She was slightly surprised at first but it took no time for her to pick herself up and smile cockily.

"Everything I said was true" Beth smirked. James completed disagreed and was disgusted by Beth's choice of words to describe Riley; someone James was fond of.

"It's not true, Riley ignore her" he said calmly, lowering his voice to almost a whisper and putting his hand on Riley's shoulder. She trembled and took a step back quickly.

"It's true, she's right" Riley whimpered, trying to act stronger than she was.

"Shut up, you know I'm right" Beth snickered. She was still stood in the doorway, glaring at the two of them.

"Beth stop, Riley isn't any of those things and i don't know how you could dare say that! If anyone's a slut it's you" James said, mumbling the last part under his breath. Beth somehow heard him still, and so did Riley who looked lost.

"I am not a slut!" Beth yelled, stomping into he middle of the room.

"Neither is Riley!" James defended. Riley said nothing but inside she was pleased that James was defending her. Even if there was something she couldn't ever get out her memory...

"Why are you sticking up for that Bitch? You love me James, YOU LOVE ME!" Beth yelled getting even angrier. James and Riley were surprised by the sudden over reacted outburst. Even Beth was stunned for a few seconds.

"Since when did I ever love you?" Said James confused. He knew he hadn't- he barely knew the girl. Yes they had talked around school, yes they hooked up at that party. But that in no way meant that he loved her. He didn't even like her!

Especially after this.

Beth and James continued to yell at each other from the middle of the room; they were completely oblivious that Riley had crept out the room and dissapeared.

Suddenly Beth leaned in and crashed her lips against James'. He was shocked and pushes her away as soon as he realised what had happened.

"Ugh, you're such a player!" She screeched before throwing her handbag on her arm and storming out the room, clearly unhappy. James sighed in relief that she was gone, and turned to look at Riley.

But she was gone.

Yet again sorry for the short update but don't worry because there's still a lot more to happen in this book x
Should I make my chapters longer again when I have more time to write?
Are these getting boring?
