I know this is gonna be kinda dramatic considering James and Riley only had a minor argument but I just wanna get this book over with already tbh therefore am just cutting it short. Dw I'm not near the end yet though

•a year later•
It was graduation day. I had my black gown and cap on, and it did look kinda ridiculous to be honest. Being quite small it made me look like a 7 year old that had done a bad job of dressing up as the grim reaper for Halloween.

My parents were surprisingly attending my graduation. I don't think they would have done unless the school had sent them a fancy invite, making them believe that it was a formal event. Dumb I know, especially since they already attended Emily's a few years back.

My mom dad and I all arrived at school as the ceremony began. They sat within the crowd of other proud parents meanwhile I and the rest of my year group sat on benches set up along the stage we were on.

The head teacher was rambling on for ages about how great we all were. Lies, lies, and more lies I thought to myself before allowing my mind to think about it's own thing.

I was surrounded my all my best friends. I was able to glance at all my girls and beside Amy I saw James.

We never spoke again after that awful 'date' our friends set up. To this day I regret losing him as a friend, especially since he was the first person to help me out of my shell. But it was too late now. We were leaving school for good and the majority of the people here today I'd never see again in my life.

James just happened to be one of them.
