Life had spiralled down to one man, his love and so many happinesses that she hadn't been aware of before.

Just a few months ago, she had this needle like longing pricking into her heart that they weren't as a married couple was supposed to be, but now it was as if fate had opened up a hamper for her with the joys of being married and in love.

But there was something she needed to clear out, before she indulged in the luxuries of the hamper fate had offered her.

"Manik..?" She spoke up, somewhat hesitantly.

"Hmm.." Manik hums huskily, his face buried in her hairs.

"Ek baat puchun?" She asked, softly.

"Kuch bhi." He replied, lovingly.

"Mujhe Mukti bata rahi thi ki.." Nandini spoke up hesitantly, making Manik look at her intrigued.

"I mean, I don't mean it otherwise but," She tried but trailed off again.

"Kya baat hai Nandini? Ask me clearly. There's no point of being so formal, with me at least." He asked huskily, drawing random circles on the skin above her bosoms.

Nandini smiles looking up at him.

"I've heard you had many girlfriends." She asked finally, mustering up her mind.

"I'll be very honest, I did." Manik replied, sincerely looking at her and chuckles inwardly seeing her face falling a little.

"Okay." She replied, cutely disappointed.

"You don't want to know about them?" Manik asked her casually, holding back his laughter.

"No. Thank you!" Came her instant cute reply.

This time Manik laughs making Nandini look at him with narrow eyes.

"Aren't you too cute Nandini? I might have had many girlfriends in past who might have touched me and you surely don't want to know about that. But the only woman, who has touched my body, heart and soul, the one I'm so madly in love with and the one who's right now in my arms all bared is you, my lawfully wedded wife and I promise it will be her only all my life." He spoke up, sincerely gazing straight into her hazel eyes.

"And you know, why didn't I ever get intimate with all those women in my life? Because I always wanted to share this bed, this room with a woman who would share my life with me. Love me for who I am, love me for the real me instead of the riches, the luxuries and I found that in you. I, very early in my life had decided that I'm not settling for anything less than a wife."

He added huskily, tracing her cheeks with the back of his hand.

Nandini smiled and kissed him, again.

Leaving her lips, he nuzzled into her nape dropping some kisses there as she held onto him from those strong shoulders.

"Manik?" She spoke up softly.
