"Sorry I'm late." I apologized as I rushed into work

"Girl I was trying to call you." Phil said

"My phone was dead I didn't get to put it on the charger until this morning. I didn't get home until 2 in the morning." I explained

When I was over at Myles we stayed up getting to know each other and literally lost track of time in the mix of doing that and getting home in New York traffic no matter what time it was was hectic.

"Why weren't you home?" He questioned as he looking at me suspiciously and squinted his eyes

"Doing stuff." I simply told him going to the back as I started hanging my coat up

"Nope don't do that bitch you're my best friend you know we don't keep shit from each other." He said following behind me

"When I tell you, you better not yell." I told him knowing how he could get

"Alright now tell me." He waved for me to continue

After I finish telling and explaining everything to him his mouth was now agape and his eyes were wide. Making shake my head at his over dramatic reaction

"Oou bitch you always get the fine men. Did y'all do anything else besides talk?" He wiggles his eyebrows

"No I barely know this man why would I do anything else with him beside talk." I said with a straight face going to the front hearing someone walk in

"Bryan what do you want." I moved my hair out my face I was beyond tired and didn't feel like dealing with him today. He was so mentally draining and toxic.

"This is the only way I could talk to you Ellisa." He said as had a stressed look on his face

"It's obviously she don't want to talk to you so leave my nigga." Phil said getting serious which was rare of him as he crossed his arms across his chest.

"Shut ya faggot ass up." Bryan spat at him looking him up and down

Smirking Phil pulled his pants up and started to walk to him but I pushed him back slightly. This wasn't the time nor the place for a fight. Especially in Phil business and my workspace.

"He's not even worth it." I shook my head "Go to the back I'll be fine." I reassured him

"You sure?" He looked down at me with now a soften face

"Yes." Shooting Bryan one more look of disgust he left to the back leaving us two alone

"Bryan what is it that you need to tell me that's so important." I sighed

"I want you back baby." He stepped forward but I moved back before he could touch me

"Yea that's not going to happen." I shook my head completely over this conversation already

"Come on Li. Remember all the good times we had." He tried to remind me but in this situation the bad outweighed the good. I knew my worth and refused to go backwards for anybody

"Bryan go take care of your child. We are and won't be anything and I told you this repeatedly."

"Don't fucking worry about my child." He said getting mad
