"Uhh no thanks." Bridie said, looking between the hybrid child and her adopted sister. "I'm not one for children." She replied with a sly smile. Alice frowned and so did Renesmee who was growing at a rapid pace.

"That's no excuse. Ness do you wanna go to Aunty Bri?" Alice cooed and Renesmee giggled, holding her small hands out for Bridie. Bridie looked away momentarily, feeling a pang of guilt.

"Listen Alice–"

"Bridget Olivia Cullen hold your niece or so help me I will remove your entire bookcase from your room!" Alice scolded.

"Just be careful of your arm," Carlisle appeared in the doorway with Esme in his arms. "I think I did a pretty good job patching it up." It was true, there was hardly any evidence that Paul had tried to rip her arm off, the cracks were slowly fading and soon her arm would be fully healed. Bridie looked at Renesmee who was making strange baby noises and sighed, nodding her head. Alice smiled in triumph and passed the baby over to Bridie who wasn't sure how to hold her.

"Alice I swear to god if I drop her you're explaining this to Edward and Bella." Bridie warned holding Renesmee in her arms gently but with a strong grip.

"You drop my daughter I drop you off a cliff, deal?" Edward smirked walking into the room.

"That sounds good to me." Bridie forced a smile and looked to her niece who was staring at the vampire with love in her eyes. "Would you like to see Aunty Bri get dropped off a cliff?" Bridie cooed. "I'd gladly take uncle Em with me." She added laughing seeing Renesmee laugh. The child's hand was on Bridie's bare arm and they were communicating in their own way, through pictures and sounds though not with words.

"She loves you Bridie." Edward smiled softly at the sight in front of him. Bridie's smiled wiped from her face.

"Alice." The vampire whispered, making everyone look at her. Alice took the pained expression on Bridie's face as a hint and grabbed Renesmee much to the child's dislike. Bridie's eyes glazed over and she quietly removed herself from the room, bumping into Jake who had entered the house as she did so.

"What's wrong with red? Did she hurt Nessie!?" Jakes panicked voice echoed inside Bridie's head and she ran into the woods, knocking into a tree and she fell to her knees. Something didn't feel right. Something felt extremely wrong, Bridie's chest tightened as she felt the burning in her throat get more intense. Pressing her palms to her head, Bridie counted back from ten down to zero. Little things had been setting her off, scents or images or phrases reminded her of the doom she had brought her family – what Louis would bring her family.

Bridie

"Go away!" Bridie screamed, feeling heat rise in her cheeks and hands.

I love you my sister, you're my sister not theirs

"I hate you." The red headed vampire breathed. "I'll find you and I'll kill you."

"You can't kill what you can't catch." The voice appeared behind her. Soft footsteps crunched on the ground around her and a hand reached down to pick Bridie up by her throat. Louis' eyes were a dark red, resembling rubies and clear evidence he had recently hunted. Bridie whimpered, trying desperately to get out of her brothers grasp. Her feet were merely scraping the ground and she knew from experience she couldn't take on her brother. "I had such high expectations for us sister."

"I had such low expectations of you, brother." Bridie spat harshly. Louis scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Naturally. Nothing like good ol' fashioned sibling rivalry." Louissmiled and threw Bridie against the largest tree he could spot. Which just happened to be fifty yards away. Bridie got up and punched Louis in the throat hard enough to create cracks in his neck. "Why so angry sister? Can't stand being around all those mutts?" Louis smirked watching Bridie's face fall from pain to guilt to sadness. He laughed.

"It has nothing to do with the Cullen's." Bridie's voice cracked, refusing to meet her brothers eyes. Louis raised his hand and balled it into a fist making his sister cry out in pain. Bridie could feel the venom in her bloodstream and she let out an ear-piercing scream. One that even made Louis flinch. He dropped his hand and sighed, kicking Bridie in her stomach and she flew through a tree making it snap in half with pieces flying everywhere. "Should I pay a little visit to our niece?" Louis laughed and clapped his hands out of amusement.

"You stay the hell away from her!" Bridie cried. Louis stopped dead in his tracks and looked down at his sister.

"It's not the mutts...don't tell me it's her!" Bridie blinked away the tears that would never fall. "She smells so appetising to you doesn't she?"

"Don't hurt her." Bridie whimpered subconsciously grabbing at the dirt beneath her palms. The vampire didn't have the energy to use her gift, what was the point? Louis would beat her anyway, he always would. She was no match for his gift which he could use to crush her beneath his boot just as easily as he could with the rest of her family. Keep them safe. Keep her safe.

Louis dropped to his knees and gently placed his index finger under his sisters chin. Lifting it up slowly he smiled at his sisters pain, watching her scramble over the fear of hurting her little niece. "You disappoint me Bri. Always have." He let her chin fall back down and grabbed her throat in his hands once more.

"Brother kill me." Bridie pleaded with tear filled eyes. Louis didn't reply. "Do it!" She creamed in his face. Louis hesitated and laughed instead.

"You're pathetic." He took a few large steps and smirked. "I'll kill you after you tell you family your little secret." With that Louis threw Bridie through the largest window that he could find of the Cullen's beautiful house. Bridie crashed into Emmett and the two went flying through a wall before landing in the music room, to her relief Bridie was silently glad none of the instruments were broken.

"Bri what happened!?" Emmet shook Bridie's shoulders. She wouldn't look up and Renesmee's screams didn't help. Bridie felt her shoulders shake but couldn't understand if it was out of fear, anger or guilt.

_______________
Okay so a little heads up but if you didn't already know:
Louis has the gift of being able to turn Vampires human and vis versa.
Bridie has the power to be a copycat which she got from Villanelle when Louis resurrected her.
Villanelle has the power to pass on her power to her soulmate/mate which is Bridie. Villanelle is still able to use her powers (copycat) so she basically duplicated it and gave it to Bridie.

I promise if this isn't making any sense to anyone I'll talk more on it in a chapter. Just give me the word.
