Bridie looked outside, her pitch black eyes scanned her front yard to see the pack of wolves moving slowly towards Edward, Jasper, and Alice. Edwards shirt and face was caked in blood and Bridie could no longer hear the subtle heartbeat that once resided in the house. Rosalie was nursing the small baby in the house away from the fight- Bridie had a little niece, Renesmee Carlie Cullen was the most beautiful baby in Bridies eyes but sadly Bella only got a small glimpse of her before she died. Bridie helped Edward in spreading the venom around Bella's body.

Bridie couldn't think about how cute her new niece was at that moment or how attractively sweet the child's scent was because her thoughts were interrupted by a brown furred wolf pinning Alice to the ground. Jared. Bridie's eyes grew even darker as she ran full speed and pushed Jared away from her. "Get away from my sister Mutt!" Bridie growled, helping Alice to her feet. The two were surrounded by three large wolves. Sam moved forward and the siblings moved back to Jasper and Edward.

"There's too many of them." Alice's voice wavered.

"We can't take all of them on." Jasper warned Edward.

"I'm not letting them hurt my family." Edward growled. Sam stepped forward and Bridie stepped protectively in front of Edward.

"That makes two of us." Bridie stated, Sam pounced and so did Bridie- pushing the wolf against the tree and it snapped in half taking Sam with it. "Renesmee poses no threat!" Bridie shouted. The wolves snarled and growled at Bridie snapping their jaws at her. The fight started up again and Bridie was tackled and pinned to the ground by Brady, the grey-furred wolf and he started to snap his sharp teeth at her. Trying to lunge at her throat, Bridie held back Brady's face, but he was a very persistent wolf. Bridie's left arm was grabbed and bitten into by Paul Bridie cried out in pain and was thrown into a solid object moving at lightning fast speed. Carlisle.

Bridie looked up to meet her best friends gaze and his eyes trailed down to her arm. Carlisle pulled himself and Bridie up off the ground just in time for Sam to barely miss hitting them. Soon Leah and Seth showed up and Carlisle stood protectivley in front of Bridie while the rest of their family piled around them as the Wolves surrounded them on either side. Jake came out and stood in front of the Cullens.

"If you kill her you kill me!" Jake shouted. Sam tried to get around him but Jake slid in front of the Cullens again. Sam tried to lunge at Jake but he shifted into his wolf form. Bridie's eyes went wide but she smiled and let out a small laugh. When Sam and his pack backed down she and Edward shared a look.

"Jacob imprinted on Renesmee." Edward breathed out and everyone stared between the vampire and the wolf.

"They can't hurt her." Bridie nodded along nursing her wounded arm. "Whoever a wolf imprints on can't be harmed. It's their most absolute law."

"Bridie come hold your niece!" Alice squealed trying her best to entertain everyone as the older vampire slowly descended the stairs that lead up to her room. She gently clutched a book loosely in her hands and held them behind her back as she stood by the wall. Only a few more hours until Bella wakes up.
