So I just got back from Bible study, and since it is already late, I won't do my own study now, I'll just tell you about the one I just came from. I do have a nasty headache though, so if I don't make any sense that would be why. I blame the headache on my crush, there was a song on the radio that is really annoying, and I made the mistake of saying that, so he blasted the radio and sang the song on at the top of his voice. He's not a bad singer though☺️. Also the Bible study got really deep into doctrines. My crush is actually studying theology and doctrines and all that, so him and another guy who is really into that stuff really lead the discussion and it was a bit hard to wrap my head around, so sorry if I give you a headache too.
So basically we talked about the doctrines of Total Depravity, Election and Predestination. We believe that when Adam sinned, the whole human race fell into total depravity. God knew from before He created the world, who He would save and who He would send to hell. Now this sounds really unfair, do some people deserve hell and not others? It is not at all unfair, consider:
Jeremiah 18:6 KJV
[6] O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
We are the clay, and God is the Potter, it is perfectly fair for Him to do whatever He wants with us.
I think I wrote the jist of what I was thinking, what are your thoughts on it? I think it is one of those things, like the Trinity, that we simply cannot wrap our finite human minds around.
We have to pray especially for Mr. and Mrs. W, it is very possible that theses are his last days or weeks.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You so much for everything You have done for us, thank you for Life Chain today, please use us and our peaceful protest for Your glory. Lord thank you so much for choosing us to be Your children! The more I think about the more I am in awe! Lord please be especially near Mr. and Mrs. W as he is going to be with You soon, please grant them everything they need. Please also let Mrs. VV's healing from her surgery go well. Please be near Mel and her friend as they are in Mexico, and please be near everyone in my prayer journal, in Jesus's name, Amen
