Mare gave me a cautious look that said 'we should just go' but, I was really curious about why Ariana decided to pop back up. I haven't seen any stories on her little blog lately. Then again, I did ruin her blog when she tried to slam me.

"What do you want from me?"

She hesitated. "I need a story." Mare snorted as she continued. "One about you. Just do this for me."

"You're begging me to help you after you tried to ruin me with your blog multiple times?"

"I need this!" She exclaimed, putting her hand on her chest. Her voice no longer subtle. "Do this please?!"

"No." I simply said and walked away, leaving her standing there. Mare walked with me with a surprised look on her face. "Wow. Never expected her to be pleading for help from you."

"Neither did I."

"Sorry for taking so long," I said, fanning myself with my hand since I no longer had my folder. "I had to get my homework from the rest of my classes."

Jaxon leaned on his car, whirling his key between his fingers. "Why are you still doing your homework? Shouldn't you be using your trip to the hospital as a trick?"

"Because I hate being behind," I explained, standing in front of him. He put his keys away and put his hand on my head. "You feel hot."

"No shit."

He smirked, pulling his hand away. "Kitten, you know I'm still counting my kisses."

"What?!"

"Sixty five kisses."

I nearly choked on the air. "How do you even get that high?!"

"Because I add however much I want."

I rolled my eyes. "You're not laying your lips on me."

"You know you love when I kiss you, Kitten."

He wasn't lying there. I simply glanced at him and got in the car before I ended up saying something that he'd hang over my head later. He laughed at his victory and got in the car.

After a while of a comfortable silence, I was considering bringing up Axel. I know it was a... uneasy topic with him but, we haven't heard of his schemes in a while. It's weird. Ever since we got together, nothing has come from him. Plus, I know that Jaxon met with Axel's fiance and I didn't know what their conversation was about.

"You're have something to say?" Jaxon stated more than asked. I straightened up in my seat, surprised that read me that quickly.

"Yeah... about Axel. What's going on with him?"

I was surprised to not see him get angry from hearing his name and remained calm. That's the first. "He's injured right now."

"How did that happen?"

His lip twitched. "Heard he got shot by someone in the gang. Think it was his shoulder and... his arm. Wait, it was his leg! That's right."
