“Did you hear that?” whispered Bertholdt into his boyfriend’s ear. The couple was having a “date” in this abandoned mental hospital. Bertholdt only went in because he didn’t want to be caught by the police outside. The only thing giving Bertholdt courage was Reiner’s disbelief in ghosts.

Suddenly, everything went cold. Bertholdt froze in his tracks as Reiner looked down a hallway.

“I’m going to check that out.” There was no way Bertholdt was going to follow.

“Don’t go far…” Bertholdt whispered. Not two steps into the hallways, Reiner fell and was being dragged by some invisible force.

“REINER!” Bertholdt yelled as Reiner’s yelling echoed through the asylum before being silence with a cutting sound.
