"Jax. Can I ask you a question."
"Sure doll."
"What were you going to tell me about you're daughters when my Dad interrupted?" I respond.
"Um." He takes a deep breath. "Her mother and I had our daughters at a young age. They were very special to me. That's all that I was going to say."
"Oh." I replied
"My turn." Jax stated.
"For what?"
"To ask you a question."
"Ok." I replied.
"What did you do before all this happened?"
"Well I was going to a small town High School, always wanted to drop out but my parents always refused for me too. Didn't have a boyfriend, I only had one true friend that I could trust. Didn't have a job, couldn't find one. I didn't care about if I failed or pass. I would always cheat on tests. Which when I did that, made me pass the class. I didn't let anyone step on me. Most knew better not to." I replied
Jax had a smirk on his face.
"What?"
"I was the same way in High School." Is all that he said. He grabbed one of my hands and held it. He kissed it gently.
"What? Am I friend-zoned now?" I teased.
"No, darlin'." He said with a smirk on his face.
