On Our Way
We pull into the driveway of this house. The house is a nice one story brick house just the right size for all of us. I tell my little brother, Joe, and Debbie to wait in the car and be prepared. Dad gets out of his truck. We both walk quietly towards the house. My dad goes in first. He opens the door and we both step in side. He goes to the left I go to the right. We search the house and find nothing until we get to the kitchen. There's a walker feeding on a cat. I sneak up behind it and stick my hatchet in its head. We drag the walker outside out of the house. House cleared. We bring the others into the house along with out supplies.
"We should be safe for the night." My dad said. "Lets all get some rest." Me and my dad take turns on watch while the others sleep. Morning comes way to fast. We start looking for supplies through out the house. Suddenly there's a knock at the door. *knock knock knock knock* We all stop dead in our tracks. I go peaking out the curtain.
