This wasn't supposed to happen. I can't help but start crying. The pillow starts to become wet due to my tears. My sadness is a hollowness. Sometimes, my hollowness is a shell holding in a thousand oceans of tears. Sometimes though, it holds a thousand pieces of glass that are wedged in between my soul and body. That's the pain. Suddenly, my phone starts ringing. I pick it up.

"Hey Sarah!"

"Hey Aaron!"

"What's up?"

"Well, I'm going to Jeff's party."

"What? Jeff's throwing a party?"

"Yep. By the way, thank you so much for last week."

"You've already thanked me three times Sarah."

"I know. That reminds me I never asked you that where you got the tickets from."

"A friend of my dad's gave the tickets to him and he gave the tickets to me."

"Oh okay. So, what have you been doing?"

"I've been trying some new things."

"New things like?"

"Well, I've started to play the guitar."

"Really? That's so nice! Which one do you play? Acoustic or electric?"

"Acoustic."

"That's good. Hey I have an idea! Maybe we could form a band!"

"Yeah we could. So, which instrument do you play?"

"Well, I don't play any instrument."

"Then?"

"I sing."

"You do?"

"Yep."

"That's good. I have to go now. I'm just going to take a walk."

"I should probably go now too or I'll be late for the party."

"Bye Sarah."

"Bye Aaron."

I hang up the phone and put it in my pocket. After that I exit my room and enter the living room.

"Dad, I'm leaving for the party."

"Have fun and take care of yourself kiddo."

"Thanks dad."

I exit my house.

"Where were you Sarah? I've been waiting outside for twenty minutes!"

"Yeah, sorry about that. I was talking to Aaron and I lost track of time."

"Come on let's go."

We start walking.

"So, how was the wedding?"

"It was surprisingly good. I thought that I'd get bored but I didn't. So, what did you do on my birthday?"

"Aaron came over to my house and we played games together. I still can't believe that he beat me at Call Of Duty. After that, we went to the Green Day concert."

"You went to the Green Day concert?!"

"Yep."

"How was it?"

"It was awesome. Plus, Aaron had the V.I.P. tickets."

"V.I.P. tickets?"

"Yeah, they enabled us to skip the long queues and to go backstage."
