Chapter 21

You woke up because of a noise coming from the living room. You grab your loaded gun and walk out of the room. As you were walking towards the noise--

"You plan on killing me now?" Taehyung asked.

You unloaded the gun and said, "I thought you left."

"My flight isn't 'til later tonight."

"Isn't it dangerous to travel at night?"

"I know that. Oh, before I leave, someone left a note on your door. A notepad sticky note."

Tae handed you the note. You looked at it and it was another note written in Japanese.

"Wait! Taehyung, wait here." You ran to your laptop and searched the meaning. "Die? What?"

"I'm leaving,"

"No! Wait! Can you just-- Can you change your flight to tomorrow morning?"

"No. Need to watch anime in Japan."

"Bu--"

"Bye! See you in three months." He left the house in a hurry.

Phone rings [from Namjoon]

"What?" You scream.

"They are watching."

Phone call ends

"Nam- Namjoon?!"

You quickly loaded your gun, threw it in a bag, and grabbed your jacket. You ran out of the house and started the car. You saw someone again.

"What? Mi--"

Phone rings [from Jin]

"Hello?"

"You need to come to the hospital. Hurry!"

"What hospital?"

Jin tells you.

Phone call ends

You speed to the hospital.

[Hospital]

"He was shot," Jin said.

"Who?!"

"Namjoon," he replied.

"He is still in the emergency room," Jimin said.

Jhope and Suga came running.

"He's been acting weird lately," Jin said.

"He's been tracked," you told the boys. They look at you in shock.

"Tracked?" Asked Suga.

"The article. It tracked him," you responded.

"What article?" Jhope asked.

"The one about the warehouse bombing," you told them.

Jimin, "It can't be."

Jin, "It might be."

Suga, "He told me someone's been taking pictures of him every night."

You, "Shutters."

"Do we need to fight?" Jin asked.

"Where is Taehyung by the way?" Jimin asks looking for him.

"He left fo-- Minji?"

Phone rings [from Chief]

"Why call now?!" You whisper yelled before answering the phone. You had stopped following someone as well.

"Hello?"

"I have an update about the warehouse bombing. There are two survivors."

"Yes chief?"

"I won't need that though. You need to give me updates about the people who died there."

"Yes chief. I'm working on it."

"I need visual aid for that."

Phone call ends

"Yah! Who were you following?" Suga asked. You were hesitant to tell him.

"I thought I saw a friend."

"Oh. Well, Namjoon is okay now. Where is Taehyung. He hasn't been answering our calls."

"He left for Japan."

"By the way, I read the article."

"And?"

"Nothing happened. I did get a note though."

"No- note?"

"Yeah. I brought it with me." He showed you the note. It was in Japanese. "What's with the shocked face?"

"I got the same one."

"What does it mean?"

"Alive."

Jhope walks up to you guys.

"Hey, I got a call from Taehyung," Jhope said casually.

"What did he say?!" You became anxious.

Jhope replied, "'They are watching.' Then the call ended."
