Chapter 3: Meeting the Silver-haired Vampire Hunter

"Oh! Rai-kun and mr. Frankenstein I see you came as well. Why don't you make them some tea, ne Kiryu-kun?"- said Kaien as he tugged on Zero's arm and pulled him back to the office

"Tch, why should I make some tea for that sick vam--"- Zero was cutt off by our dear Frankie

"Excuse me, but I will be the one to make tea for my master. I was already his loyal servant even before I became a teacher in this academy after all."- Frankenstein said, almost losing his self and might end up unlocking his seal for what the silver-haired just said 

"Oh? Really, then do as you please mr. Frankenstein."- Kaien said with a closed-eye smile

"Kiryu-kun, it is a perfect time to introduce yourself. You are also part of the academy's prefect so it is also part of your duty to introduce yourself to the new student here in Cross Academy."- Kaien explained as the noblesse sat on the chair infront of them

"Tch."

'Why should I? He's just another vampire scu--'

His thoughts were cutt off when a voice entered his mind.

'Aren't you one, yourself?'

This caused Zero to flinched,'Did he just--?'

"Well, if your aren't going to introduce yourself then I shall, Kiryu-kun."- Kaien stated as he clapped his hands

"Well then, Rai-kun this boy is Zero Kiryu. He's also my adoptive son, and I guess you already sensed that he is not human, am I correct?"- Kaien introduced and asked the noblesse who only nodded.

"He.. He is a vampire, but not a pure one."- was what the noblesse replied

"Well to begin with, he was a human not until the incident that happened 4 years ago that turned him into one."- Kaien added

Zero just scoffed and stuffed his hands in his pocket,"Are you done introducing myself? I still have some prefect duties to attend to you know."

He said as he walked to the door and was about to leave when the noblesse spoke.

"In your current condition, you will not last long."

Zero stopped at that and said,"Tch, I'm not like you vampires who happily drink human blood lik--"- he was cut off by our certain blondie

"Master, here is your tea."- Frankenstein said carrying a tray with a pot and three cups on setting it on the table, pouring one for his master.

"Here is one for you two as well."- he added casting again his mischievous smile, as he gave one cup to the headmaster and Zero

Kaien happily took the cup while Zero just scoffed,"Tch, for a human who serves a vampire, I ain--"

"And to let you know, mr. Zero Kiryu. My master doesn't need to drink human blood, infact I never seen him drink even the tiniest drop. Human blood are only nutrients that nobles like my master could gain, but he doesn't drink though. He only drinks tea and coffee."- Frankenstein explained earning a confused expression from both the headmaster and the silver-haired guy.

"A vampi--"

"My apologies on cutting you off again but, my master dislikes people calling him a vampire. Yes, they are alike but the are not the same."- Frankenstein said

Kaien only put his index finger and thumb against his chin, thinking as a question popped in his mind.

"If he isn't a vampire then what is he? I heard this from Kuran-kun yesterday when we were talking that Rai-kun is far more powerful than him, a pureblood at that."- the headmaster asked
