jimin yawned as he got up from cuddling tae. they had fallen asleep together, wrapped in each other's arms. somehow, tae still wasn't awake so the older boy decided to get up and start making some food.

that's the thing. he didn't know how and to make it worse he was sleepy and dazed. as he made with way towards the kitchen, he rubbed his eyes and almost ran into the corner of the wall. after that, then he decided that he should at the very least splash water on his face to wake up, so he went to the bathroom and ran the water to its coldest. then the cold water hit his face, and with a shock he looked up at himself and blinked. his reflection stared back at him, the tips of his orange hair wet and his face dripping with water. he gave a small laugh at how funny he looked and grabbed a purple towel laying on the counter to his left. drying off his face, he hang the towel back up after he was done.

walking towards the kitchen, he tried to be as quiet as he could because he was well aware the other members were still sleeping. jimin was usually the early riser and today was no different. as he browsed the kitchen for the tools he wanted, he scanned the white counters and marble countertop. the air was soon to be smelling sweet, as jimin started to look up recipes on his phone. he got out what he needed, then he started dumping the ingredients in and was so focused that he didn't notice tae come in, wondering what the noise and smells were. then jimin started coughing as flour dust lined his throat.

"you seem to be struggling a little bit," tae suddenly said, startling jimin out of his mind. the younger boy came and wrapped his arms around jimin's waist and hugged him from the back. he was very clingy when he was sleepy and that was exactly how he was. "i woke up and you weren't next to me.. i panicked but then heard noises coming from in here.." the silver haired young sighed and kissed his boyfriend's neck. jimin smiled and poured some water in as he added sugar.

"sorry, i didn't wanna wake you," jimin replied, and tae unlatched his arms to join jimin's side to look at what he was doing. "wanna help me?" jimin asked and tae nodded his head, already grabbing a wooden spoon to start stirring when instructed. he started stirring right when jimin told him. but even though he was sleepy, tae was still tae, so he stuck his finger in the bowl and got some batter on it.

he turned to jimin, who was getting a pan out and slicing butter into it over the low heat. "jimine? can you look at me for a second?" it was a little too late when jimin took tae's trap and suddenly had batter on his nose. tae fell into a fit of giggles and dodged an elbow from jimin. the older boy then glared at tae, but suddenly it turned to a smirk. a little quicker than tae noticed, jimin turned on the water, got his hand wet, and flung water at tae. before he could react, jimin got a small amount of flour on his hands and threw it on tae. he blinked, trying to process what just happened before he started laughing more. both of them started to throw small bits of powder of anything at each other.

as the pancakes cooked, jimin took his finger in the flour and started drawing small hearts on tae's face, while he smiled and stared at the pancakes. as they were done or needed flipping, jimin was nudged by tae. luckily, even with some batter all over jimin's face and on the counter, jimin had made enough for tons of pancakes for everyone, who were slowly starting to stir.

"what in the heavens happened in here?!" jin asked, walking into the kitchen with wide eyes with hobi and jungkook behind him, both trying not to laugh. jimin and tae both looked at each other, cracking up.

"good morning, we made you breakfast!" they both said together. jin shook his head and smiled.

"oh you both are a mess, just along with this kitchen."
