Rebecca's pov:

It was like the time stopped every single thing around me was stopped as if God pressed the pause button the wind the paparazzis I couldn't even feel my breath I closed my eyes shut I felt numb I couldn't feel a thing all I could feel was his lips on me

He pulled away which seemed like centuries and I let go the breath I was holding I blinked several times to reality sudden everything came back I was in reality again I came back from my happy place this moment I never wanted to end but it did things never go as we want them to

Xavier looked in my eyes holding my face in his hands delicately as if he was holding a flower no even more delicately like he was holding a glass I could see nothing in his eyes as if his eyes were clouded with some emotion unknown to me

Flashes of the dream I had in the morning came in front of eyes my vision blurred I didn't even knew when did my eyes started to water this man in front of me was the love of my life his arms where the place I would call paradise he felt warm like a cup of hot chocolate

Nope even more warm like a cup of hot chocolate in front of the firewood on a snowy Christmas I was again brought to reality when the paparazzis started to shove their cameras and mics in between us I was so annoyed I gritted my teeth trying to consume my anger and frustration

"Mr Xavier what do you have to say for the stunt you pulled just now?" A paparazzi asked like seriously do paparazzis have a brain? I mean a man kissed his soon to be wife that doesn't mean it's a publicity stunt for God's sake he was scared he might loose me

"Is it true that your girlfriend argued with you to work here so you burnt up the whole building?"

I rolled my eyes they have proved they are dumb heads

"Is your girlfriend pregnant?is that the reason why you people are rushing to get married?"

I wanted to bark at them and say them profanities but we were in front of Xaviers car and we sat inside as soon we shut the door getting inside I sighed in relieve that's when panic hit me

"Where's Jeremy?" I half yelled trying to run outside the car but Xavier caught my hand and Jeremy poked his head from the front seat "mama" he said frightened and I scooted in front and hugged him "I ordered my driver to get him safe and sound in the car before I came to you" said Xavier

I smiled at him but he clearly ignored it and looked outside of the window were the paparazzis  still continued to harass us but luckily we couldn't hear them the ride was silent non of us spoke it was deadly quiet and I seriously don't know why I broke the silence by clearing my throat

"Umm I met your cousin  fried rice the other day and ...." before i continued jeremys laugh stopped me my heart stopped ; as I glanced over Xavier my heart stopped beating my breaths came out as tons of weight have I done a mistake? I mentally slapped my forehead  he's gonna think I am crazy . He's gonna laugh at me

"Mama you said fried rice hahaha
....mama can we have fried rice for dinner??please " I wanted to jump out of the car I wanted to cry with embarrassment I said fried rice instead of friendly?? Wait what was his name again? "That's fredrick honey" he said smiling

I sighed in relief and sank on the seat.  My phone started ringing I pulled my phone out of my purse and saw Mr marrows name I furrowed my brows thinking why is he calling? "Is that what you call a phone?" asked Xavier and I was speechless I kept my head low and opened my purse and threw my phone inside and looked out of the window
