CHAPTER 3: SHADOW

This is my second fanfiction story I write, so I'd really like you to read and review. I need all the advice i can get.

"First... Why?" I Said in shock

"Oh! Mavis, you mean... She's long gone. Her body is now mine..." Said Mavis with a grin on her face

"Impossible..." I Said

"What's impossible is you escaping out of the illusion..." She added

**4 hours ago**

After having absorbed Mavis's magic power, Zeref lifts both hands in the air.

"FAIRY HEART," He said as he released a huge amount of magic

A blinding white light covered the guild. Natsu was overwhelmed, he couldn't see what was happening. Finally, A silhouette in the centre of that light projected its shadow on the wall. Bit by bit the light dimed, and a sublime creature descended on earth. Clad in white, he soared over the floor, with hollow white wings. His hair dyed in white, for that we called once the black wizard, is now a reverent figure tainting the world in white. One look into those cold eyes of his, and Natsu froze in place. He was shocked, he could feel the air around them shaking. However, with one hit to his shivering feet, he mustered the courage to face his brother. A blazing heat enveloped the air around him, he leaned and his eyes were sharp like a dragon's.....  Scales covered his face. He went towards Mavis on the floor, where she was unconscious. He lifted her and put her aside and told her:

"Rest here, First... I will come back for you shortly,"

He turned towards Zeref with a stare burnt with rage and said:

"I will erase you,"

"Erase?... Me?" Said Zeref with indifference

Natsu gathered an immense firepower into his hand anything close to him started melting. He said:

" Fire Dragon King's Fist "

He charged fiercely towards Zeref, with a flaming fist he hit Zeref with all he's got. Zeref just stood doing nothing but smiling as he received it. The guild was demolished along with him. Simultaneously, a shadow came crawling his way into the guild and went towards Mavis.

"Sorry Gramps, I destroyed the guild again... along with Zeref," Said Natsu as he could hardly stand

In the spur of a moment, the demolished part started reconstructing.

"Wh-what?" Said Natsu perplexed

Zeref started returning to normal. After seconds, everything returned as if nothing happened.

"He came back exactly how he was..." Said Natsu

"You see, I'm no longer a creature you can call human... I'm a god," Said Zeref

"Inconceivable..." Said Natsu not believing his eyes

Zeref walked slowly towards Natsu saying:

"This is Fairy Heart's power... Time and space are now mine... This is a magic that rules over all magic... A power suited to end this world,"

He thrust Natsu's chest and blood splatted all around them. As Natsu was falling, heading into his demise, Zeref said with cold blood the last words before he heads to the afterlife:

"There's one last thing I forgot to tell you... You didn't need to apologize before... Makarov is already dead... I hope you meet him in heaven..."
