"Three different authors. Three different partners. Three different stories. Stories of Prom Night"

PART 3:

The dress she wore that night

The hair and make-up that was a sight

The purse that was in her hands

The guy beside her that stands

The way their elbows subtly touch

There were no words of such

The music starts and they made their way

No talking, no chatting, no one dared to say

She danced with him

While the lights were dim.

He held her and smiled

She looked at him and also smiled

They were awkward, that's a given

But they're comfortable, it was proven

They relaxed around each other.

But no word was uttered.

She was led to her table

But to sit with her? He was not able

She had that little regret

It was something she coudn't forget

They danced, the night deepens

Slowly their hearts soften

But they didn't talk, just dance

But at each other, they stole a glance

They had a lot of things to say

They wish that time will replay

The questions in their mind

The hands that are bind

Despite the silence, it was comfortable

They dreaded the time he led her to the table

Maybe that was her regret

Maybe that significant moment was something he will never forget

Not saying a word to each other

But they want one another

That night was a delight

Those two were a sight

They were each other's partner for that night
