Letting Go

It started with you and me 

Making promises that were never spoken of

Unspoken words of eternity

Treasured things that was always remembered 

But as of this moment of clear sympathy

I remember the things that flew out of your mouth

Words that I forgot were pure agony

Of the relationship between you and me

Tell me, was all of this my thinking that eternally

You were forever bounded with me!!???

I get it, it's now all clear

But remember this, 

Do not remember me that you have "learned" to love

Instead, remember me who shouted curses at you 

Remember me who back stabbed you

Remember the girl that made a face of nothing

Clear of emotions. No fears. Nothingness.

Because right now, I'm letting go

Letting go of you who held on to someone else when I was there

Again, I'm letting go

Of you who kept secrets when I was the one on which you can share

I won't say the words you want to hear

Nor will I say it loud and clear, 

Because all this time, I gave you my all

I was there to answer your call

This is the last line of the poem, I'll just have to sigh 

I hope you remember this, "GOODBYE"
