Chapter 13

No-one POV

Claire was walking in the park resting her mind for a bit and processing that happened to her. She sat on one of the bench felling the cold winter air hit her. "This is what I called life. Enjoying the mother nature and the people playing in the playground" she said to herself. She did enjoy the company of people and watching them happy.

"Hi" a teenage boy said beside her

"Umm... hi. Can I help you?" ask Claire

"Yeah. I got lose finding the house where miss Claire live. Can you help me?" ask the black haired boy

"I think you already find your looking for" Claire said looking at the boy

"Sorry to ruined your day but I don't like girl when they are flirting" he said kindly. Claire make a 'question' look before speaking

"What? You made me laugh. I am Claire. Who are you?"

"Miss Claire? I am so sorry when I thought your a total stranger. I'am such a loser. I am Nathan by the way"

"It's ok. Nice to meet you Nathan. Take a seat" Claire said and Nathan take a seat next to her

"I was wondering if you remember me?" Nathan ask

"You? I never saw you before in my entire life" Claire said with a confuse look

"I am your best friend when we are both elementary" he said 

"You? Let me think about it"

"It's ok if you don't remember me. I brought a picture of two of us" he said giving a pic of the same playground and they are seated in the same bench they are sitting 

"Wait! Nathan Vangladish?" ask Clair. Nathan nod and smile. Claire hug him in happiness "I miss you so munch! They are many things that happen to me over this years after you left me! I am so sorry" Claire said crying

"Hey don't cry, I am must be the one being sorry for leaving you, My parents thinks it's for the best" Nathan said hugging Claire. "I promise I will never leave you ever again. No matter what!" he said holding the tears

Claire's POV

I can't believe it! I finally meet my bestfriend! This is my best day every! He hug back and told me he will never leave me ever again. I can be a whole again with my bestfriend. Our hug broke after some several minutes. 

"guess what! I am building my house in this town but I have no idea where exactly" he said

"really?! I have a place for you to leave in and also you can leave next to our house" Claire said

"really? That was fast. I was expecting that you will tour me around town until I found where I will build my house"

"I can tour you around town after you meet my parents" I said really happy. He nod in agreement but what I found out that his eyes just turn to white for a sec before turning back. I guess I am just seeing things. We walk towards my parents house, while we are talking whave a small chat here and there.

"Hey Nathan, where are your parents now?" I ask

"Well... they are..." I can sense he is scared 

"what's wrong? Is there something I said?" I ask worried bring up his parents in the conversation

"No no no, they are somewhere safe. They left me a week ago without me knowing" he said with a sad voice "yesterday night I found out that our maids are packing there stuff saying they are leaving. I was confuse at first why when my phone ring reading it comes from a unknow number. Like the old me will do I answer it" he said cracking the last part "they said my parents die in a car accident. I drop my phone to the ground. I cried the whole night with no one inside the house. All of our servants left and the guard will stay but until in the morning he will left finding a new job" he said and teas are forming in his eyes. I felt so sorry for him

"I am so sorry that I ask about your parents" I said sad and blaming myself for asking that stupid question. I hug him in return for helping him to calm down.  

"Thanks for helping me Claire. I sell the house and finding a new place to live. Until I remember you, sweetheart" I blush at the nickname he just gave me. 

"I am just glad I help you out somehow" I said and break the hug and continue walking home. We reach my parents home almost nighttime. "Well here we are" I said.

"Woah! Nice house. Wonder your parents will agree to sleep just for tonight. It's night anyway" He said

"Sure they will agree. They are the nicest people in the world" I said smiling. I open the door to see them watching a movie together " I am home and I brought someone" I said . They both look at me. 

"Who are you?" ask dad to Nathan

"Dad this is Nathan. Mom remember my best friend in elementary who always protect me from being bullied" I said

"Nathan Vangladish?" I nod 

"Sorry to just barge in" he said in a sorry tone

"It's ok. Came in. It's night time you can sleep here for the night Nathan. Make yourself at home" dad said and stood up walking towards as. "Claire can you excuse both of us. I had something to talk to him about something" he said. I nod. "I can tour you tomorrow morning" I smile at Nathan that everything will be fine. I know that dad would not hurt him. He is really a nice guy. Believe or not I have a crush on him when we are both elementary but soon found out that he has a crush on Makenzie. 

Nathan POV

Why do you have to leave me here Claire?

"What exactly you are doing here mister Vangladish?" ask her dad. We are talking outside there house.

"I was looking for a place to put my house since I sold my old house I need a new one. I soon remember that Claire live near my town that is why I came here. I am not planning on doing harm to your beautiful daughter, sir" I said.

"Make sure to keep your words mister Vangladish or else you will face me" before going in. That's right fall for my plans old man. Soon I will have my Claire before anyone does.  

Alex POV

"Ben wake up! Please!" I yell at him hoping he is still alive. The moment where the mysterious black figure that we now know his name is Null was about to shoot the fireball at me, Ben like a brave knight will do, he took that shoot. We are both free that time where Null release as after saying that both of us can die. He took the shoot now he is laying in the floor next to the unconscious Steve. It's been a couples of week that we are trap inside this hell cage. Everytime we dis obey the order we were shock. How cruel they can be. Every once or twice a week Null will came in and ask the exact same question "Do you agree to join my army?" was the only question I don't want to answer. Now I think it's night time hearing the zombie gors and skeleton bone walking outside. Only the sound of the outside world was the sign what time is.

"Alex?" I heard a voice very similar to... Steve! "What happened?" he ask

"Steve glad your awake! Is Ben alive?! Tell me he is" I said with a worried and happy voice. I saw a figure standing and walking towards Ben body

"What happened to Ben?" he ask 

"Long story now tell me if he is alive or what?!" I whispered yelled

"His out cold but be waking up I don't know how long but soon. Now where are we? And why are we in a cage with me having a lot of bruises?" he ask scared

"We got kidnap by a black figure while we are defending the village-" I was cut of by Steve screaming for help

"Anyone there?! Help us I don't wanna die, I am to young to die!" he said banging on the cell door

"Shout up or else another shock will be coming up!" one of the guards said outside

"Get us out!" he keep on yelling until we felt another electrical shock. My health is going down to zero and my hunger bar have only 2 chicken breast left. I block out because of the shock that I felt in a weak. 

"Alex!" was the last word I heard before darkness took over.
