Kenzie's pov

I opened the door and saw Johnny waiting for me. I walked down the path to the road and got into his car.

"Heyy" I said
"Hello" he replied smiling

"So where are we going?" I asked him
"Where do you wanna go?" He asked me
"I don't know" I said thinking
"I would suggest an amusement park but it's just too crowded" he said looking down
"Oh my god! Yes! Please let's go" I begged him
"Ughh, I'm only doing this for you" he said
I don't know why he didn't really want to go, amusement parks are always so much fun.

We drove there and jammed to some songs. We have kind of the same music taste. That's so cool!

"We're here" johnny said and grabbed a hat to wear. It was sunny but not that sunny whatever.

We got into the line to get our tickets.
"Two please" Johnny said when we reached the register.
I was about to take out my money when he immediately gave his credit card to the lady.
"Come on" I said
"Maybe next time" he said and smirked

We walked around the park and got into some rides. It was so much fun.

Then I saw the Ferris wheel
( very cliche im sorry )
"Let's go to the Ferris wheel" I yelled and pointed towards it.
"Why do girls always like Ferris wheels?" He asked
"Well they are nice, you get very high and can see the view" I replied. Well most girls go to the Ferris wheel for some alone time with their boys..

We got on the wheel and started going up. Johnny and I were talking and at some point he said "we need to talk about yesterday". I knew we had to at some point. I nodded

"I'm sorry for trying to kiss you, I know I have a girlfriend. It's just that I don't like her and I'm under so much pressure" he said and sighed.

"Yeah I totally understand" I said not knowing what to reply

"I really don't know what to do though" he said looking upset.

"Maybe let your parents know that you don't like this set up? Wait does the girl like you?" I asked

"I don't know, I think so" he replied

"Oh because if she didn't it would be so much easier" I said

"Yeah I know" he looked upset

"Well now you know that I like you" he said shyly

"John,...you know, um I like you too" I mumbled "but I can't do this without knowing that it won't hurt anyone and it's okay"

"Yeah I understand" he said

"Can't we at least have fun these days that I have left here. It won't hurt anyone I promise. This won't be your blame. When I go back I'll figure everything out" he said looking for hope

"Yeah sure" I said and smiled.
I mean I really liked him, what could go wrong. I trusted him that he'll fix everything.

"Can I kiss you this time?" He said smirking

I cupped his chin and kissed him. The kiss didn't last long but it was slow and romantic. We could both feel the tension between us. When we parted we were both smiling.

"That was nice" he said and I laughed.

We finished the ride and got out. He held my hand and I could feel his warmth.

He looked around, like he was looking for something.

"Everything okay?" I asked
"Y- Yeah do you wanna go get something to eat?" He asked turning to face me
"Yes I'm so hungry" I said and we walked towards a cafe

We sat down and ate some delicious food.
"I was so hungry" I said when we finished eating.
"I'm always hungry" he said
"I know" I said and laughed.
"I wish I was a boy so I could eat whatever I want without getting fat. Like look at me" I ranted.
"What?" He said and furrowed his eyebrows "your body is perfect, what are you talking about" he said and made my heart melt

"Don't lie to me john" I said to him
"I'm not lying" he said getting serious
"hah okay" I said and scoffed

At the moment the waiter came with the bill
"I am paying this time" I said and handed out some money to the waiter.
"The first and last time" Johnny said
"No stop, I have to pay for myself" I replied
"Nah, you don't have to" he said
"I do, okay let's go" I said and stood up.
