kenzie is on her way and I am in my room waiting.

That I was nervous was an understatement.

I've never had an internet friend, she was my first one.

Well we don't know each other fully... but still we became very close these past months.

She really makes me happy with all her jokes and humble personality.

my thoughts were interrupted by a text notification on my phone.

I decided I should probably stand up since she's coming.

I walked towards the door and opened it carefully. I looked around the hallway and made sure no one was there. My mom and sisters had left to go out. I had told them I'm meeting a friend. They didn't really know who tho...

I hear the sound the elevator makes when it reaches the floor. My heart starts pounding. Suddenly a brunette head comes into my view. I see her, it's her, it's kenzie.
When she notices me, she squeals and starts running towards me. Girls...
I also start running towards her and I embrace her in a big hug. We hug for some time and when we part I stare at her eyes, and she stares at mines. We are both smiling, I can feel the happiness.
After a bit she chuckles and I laugh.
I place my hands on her waist and she has hers on my shoulders.

"Hey" I whisper

"Hi! Oh my god! I can't believe you're here!" She says in excitement.

"'Me neither!" I reply.
"Come in" I say while approaching my room.
She walks inside and sits on my bed.
I walk behind her after closing the door. I sit beside her leaving a gap between us.
We just met, I don't know how to exactly act around her.
"So what are we doing?" She asks me
"I've got it all planned out. It's a surprise!"
