23 | i want you

Kenzie's pov

I woke with someone jumping on me, what is happening?
I open my eyes and see Johnny just jumping on my bed and trying to wake me up
"wake up! Wake up!" He was screaming
"Okay I'm awake chill" I mumble
"Finally" he says and throws his fist in the air
"What! Did it take that long" I ask
"Just about 50 minutes" he says
"Yea sure" I say and we laugh

He then turns around and grabs something. When he turns back around I notice him holding a tray with breakfast.
"I thought I'd bring you some breakfast, so we can start the day early" he says
"Wow that's so sweet of you, you didn't have to" I say overwhelmed no one has ever done something like that for me
"I did" he says and plumps down right next to me.

I observe the tray, it has chocolate chip pancakes (which I love), whipped cream, some fruit and coffee.

"You want to make me fat?" I say and hit him playfully
"What you don't get fat" he says
"I wish" I mumble

For the next hour we just talk and laugh and eat and have fun.
It was something really needed. I can't believe it that he's leaving soon.

"You know" he starts saying "I'll be back soon"
"Really" I say excitedly
"Of course" he assures me while I lay my head on his shoulder
"That's great" I say and smile
"It is" he says and caressed my cheek
"What are you going to do about the thing with Nadia?" I ask remembering the situation
"I'm going to tell my parents that I won't do it anymore. I don't wanna be with her. They can't force me. For whatever reason it's not worth it. I have you and I only want you" he explains

Those words made me feel loved and wanted. Something that I've never had. I can't believe that he actually wants me.

"I want you too" I say facing him

We kiss. This time it is very passionate. His lips touch mine and then he plants kisses on my neck. It's getting more intense when I hear my moms footsteps getting close. I immediately get out of his arms quickly and he realises what's happening and he sits up.

My mom walks in right on time.
"How are you doing kids" she asks
"Good" we both say in unison
"Okay just don't stay in all day" she says and walks out.

"That was close" Johnny says and let's out a breath
"Yeah" I say and chuckle
