Jungkook shut his locker close and turned around to see Yugyeom and Youngjae coming his way, talking rapidly.

"Hey, what you guys talking about?" Jungkook asked as he walked forward to meet them halfway.

"Economics stuff. You won't get it science kid." Yugyeom said, waving his hands around dismissively.

"It's not like I wanna know either. I asked only because you two looked so invested in the conversation." Jungkook said, rolling his eyes. "Anyway, how was your visit to Namjoon hyung's dorm the other day? Did you guys meet Monie?"

"Oh god! Don't take that unholy creature's name in my presence." Youngjae said, a shiver running through his body. "Just watching him crawl all over hyung's body gave me the creeps. His eyes looked like he was plotting something evil. I'm just really concerned for hyung's safety."

"Monie is totally harmless. You guys really need to get rid of this prejudice you have against him." Jungkook chuckled.

"Don't make it sound like it's our fault that we have trust issues when it comes to that giant obnoxious spider." Yugyeom scoffed.

Before Jungkook could make them see the error in their ways, a giddy looking Bambam interrupted him who had just arrived to the scene.

"I just heard the weirdest thing ever. You guys would not believe this." Bambam announced dramatically.

"What happened now? I swear shit just keeps getting weirder every day at this school." Youngjae said, shaking his head.

"So," Bambam started, his gaze sweeping all over the group once to make sure that he had everyone's undivided attention. "I just heard from some very trusted sources that Kim Taehyung aka V is, apparently, serious about someone. Like, 'wants to date the person and be in a relationship with them' kind of serious."

While Yugyeom and Youngjae looked thoroughly shocked upon hearing this — if their eyes blowing up all wide and them sucking in a sharp breath was any indication — Jungkook, on the other hand, narrowed his eyes at this new piece of information as a deep frown nestled on his face.

"Really?! Oh my god! This is unbelievable." Yugyeom gasped.

"It's probably not true. Like come on, we all know that's not possible. V has an impeccably clean record when it comes to dating people in the sense that it doesn't exist." Youngjae said as he came over his initial shock.

"That makes it even more suspicious, you know. We all know he doesn't date people and shit but this sounds one hundred percent authentic. Even the guys on the football team are backing this up." Bambam argued.

"I don't really know Bam. I have mixed feelings about this." Youngjae said, looking unsure.

"Oh come on Youngjae! This is hot gossip. Don't dismiss it like this. Back me up Gyeom." Bambam said as he turned to Yugyeom for support.
