Brandons POV
I was released two days ago. I could no longer go at the high school where Sean and Trevor go to, where rowan goes too... where everyone i know goes too. I have to be at a new school and that sucks and they all know about me being in prison so they all already hate me.
On my day of getting released, Sean and Trevor picked me up and we spent the rest of the day and night together in Sean's car just catching me up - I told them all about the zoo and how i need their help
"So thats why i need your guys help... it was hard to help when locked away from the outside world" i say as i take a puff of my cigarette with Sean and Trevor
"The girls have been through a lot... are you sure king cobra is that Zoe girl?" Sean asks
"Positive." I immediately respond
"Maybe we shouldn't help" Trevor says from the backseat
"What the hell, what do you mean" i say getting angry
"Look what's your deal with the zoo and rowan and all them. You're finally out of prison, and the first thing you think of is how to help them. If what you're saying is true - they've been dealing with this for a while and hey their still alive - they can clearly take care of themselves, whats the point of helping them? We can have fun now. Not worry about some teenage girls" Trevor says taking a drink of the tequila bottle in his hand
"Are you seriously suggesting we ignore it? They are being targeted. They almost have gotten killed multiple times, and they are scared and fighting for their lives. Yes, they are badasses but one day they aren't going to survive and they need people to back them up. I am the cause of rowan getting hurt and i cant lost her, she cant get hurt" i say snapping back at Trevor
"Whoa wait a minute... so thats why you're invested in this" he says
I was left confused "what" i say
"You're only really trying to nail Zoe because of rowan. Because you want to protect her, thats all you really care about right now" Trevor says
"I want to help all of them" i say avoiding eye contact
"Yeah... but you did only say Rowan's name. You haven't mentioned the other two" Sean says
"Alright change of subject" i say
So what if they were right. Of course i don't anything bad to happen to hailey and elisia... but with rowan it's deeper - i don't think i could ever see her get hurt because deep down i know it'll be because of me. I need to protect her
I will find Zoe and i will end this all
