Andreas POV:

I admit I was saddened with Gab's decision.  Kahit anong pilit ko ay ayaw niyang tanggapin na maging date ko sa party.

Kumukupas ka na talaga pagdating sa chicks, Andreas!

I can't help but smile with what my head is telling me pero hindi ako sanay na namimilit sa kung anong gusto ko dahil kusa ko 'yong nakukuha most of the time. I bet women won't think twice when I ask them to be my date but with Gabriella, ilang kumbinsihan namay kasama pang please pero negative ang resulta.

I can't blame her because it's her choice at ayokong pilitin siya dahil baka mas lalo ko lang siyang hindi makuha.

Relax, Andreas! Nagsisimula ka pa lang. Susuko ka na agad? No way!

"Andre! Are you with us?" tanong na pumukaw sa akin.

I'm still in the middle of my meeting with the project under Amara. Unfortunately, she was not able to come dahil sa kalagayan niya kaya 'yong secretary lang niya ang nag attend to take down notes.

Kinausap lang din namin siya thru video call when we started this.

"Oh, I'm sorry! Where were we?" I asked kahit na halatang napunta na naman sa ibang lugar ang utak ko.

Focus, Andreas! my brain hissed.

"You spaced out!" wika ni Riza na may makahulugang ngiti sa labi.

"May naalala lang, Riza. I'm sorry kung sa kalagitnaan pa ng meeting natin. That was rude."

"It's okay, Andre. Anyway, I'll get in touch with Amara so that we can start the bidding of the contractors. We will update you the soonest time possible." wika ni Riza.

"That's great. I guess we're done here. I have a meeting in fifteen minutes. Have a nice day ahead, ladies." paalam ko sa kanila bago lumabas ng conference room.

Pagkapasok ko ng opisina ko'y tinawagan ko agad si Alester. I need an update of what I ask him to do.

"Bro!" sagot niya pagkatapos ng tatlong ring.

"Busy?"

"Actually, I'm preparing for a meeting at seven. Why?"

"I just want to ask if you have any update on what I was asking you."

"Is it the first or the second one?"

"Actually, I need both, Brother."

"Hmm! I guess you're lucky, Brother. I'll send you the report about it."

"Thank you, Bro. Just send Cleo the bill."

"No problem, Bro! Ano pa't naging magkapatid tayo?"

"I owe you one. . .again, little brother."

"I'm happy na nagkainteres ka ulit sa isang babae. . .but just a piece of advice, hinay-hinay lang at mukhang fragile 'tong isang 'to. She seemed ordinary but delicate."

Napaisip ako sa sinabi ni Alester. Matalas talaga ang kilatis niya sa tao kasi hindi pa man niya nakilala si Gab ng personal ay parang kilalang-kilala na niya ito.

Buti nalang talaga at nauna niyang nakilala yong Samantha kung hindi baka nagkagusto na 'to kay Gab.

"Thanks for that advice, Bro. I'll remember that. Anyway, don't forget to be at the party tomorrow night. Bring a date!"
