Please don't kill me!
I'm finding it really hard to write recently with teachers setting lots of homework, I really don't deal well with school. Do they not know there's a life outside of school ?!
So I'm really sorry for the extremely late update.

Together Lorcan and Rowan cut through men to get to his mate. Everybody and anyone that delayed him fell and as it dawned on the enemy warriors fighting that these were the two members of Meaves former cadre that had once wiped an entire city off the map they began to run the other way. Like animals sensing predators Meaves warriors surrendered, defeated.

The doors to the throne room were shut and Rowan let out a sigh of relief, no one had gotten in.
"Rowan," He had forgotten Lorcan had followed him.

"Rowan, the amount of magic she used, and in her weakened state I....."

"It's okay Lorcan," Because Rowan couldn't face the idea that she could be gone forever not when he'd just got her back. Silently, he pushed open the doors.

In one quick scan of the room he saw Fenrys on the floor, Aelin on his lap and Connall pacing behind them.

Aelin.

Without a moments hesitation Rowan ran to her. Taking Fenrys place holding her Rowan nodded his thanks to the male.

Aelin. She was here, she was alive but she was dying if Rowan didn't do anything about it. Can canarams even share magic when one of them is unconscious?

Rowan was panicking now. Something he'd never done before; he was always calm and collected. Loosing Aelin had made him changed so much, too much. He couldn't loose her now. Taking in a deep breath he cut his palm and used the same knife to gently cut Aelin's as-well.

Then he joined their hands.

. . .

"Aelin, get back into bed now!" Rowan shouted as he noticed Aelin try to sneak out of bed for the 15th time. It had only been a few days since Aelin had escaped death. Yesterday, Aelin had protested saying she was well enough to walk. Rowan thought otherwise.

"Aelin if you don't get back into bed now I'll have to come over there!"

Oh no, that was definitely the wrong thing to say as Aelin preceded to get out of bed slipping one off her long legs out of the covers at a time. She was teasing him.

Least she was smiling, joking, even if what she hid inside her was too horrifying that she couldn't tell even him about it, least she was smiling. Rowan would be here for her always, whenever she was reading to talk, he would be here. He'd seen the marks Meave had left on her body and it nearly made him wish that Aelin hadn't killed her and Cairn only because he wanted to kill them himself, slowly.

"1......2........ I'm warning you!" Rowan counted down but Aelin only smiled wider and twisted her body so she was facing away from the bed.

"3"

With swift fæ movements Rowan glided over to her, scooping up her giggling, fragile body and gently placed her back on the bed. Aelin held on so Rowan positioned himself so that he was sat back in the bed with his mate in his lap. Safe.

MUST READ !!!

Hope u enjoyed this chapter sorry it was really short I just wanted to bring things to a close because I think I am going to stop writing this fan fiction.
Only because I have started to write another story called "Needed" (it's a working title) and I really want to focus on that.

Please check out my new story, it is a werewolf paranormal type book. If you could give it a read it would mean so much to me!!

If there was a particular character you wanted a chapter to be from I will take requests and write chapters from their point of view to add to this story. Just write their name in the comments below.
