Also just as a side note I've added a little paragraph in from Fenrys point of view, don't worry it's clearly labelled, but I'm sorry it's only a paragraph I was going to do a whole chapter from him but I wanted to write the rescue/escape from lots of other people point of view and I felt like it would be too much. (If that makes sense 😂)

Lorcan
He'd spent weeks wondering the dangerous terrain of this island. Although it looked like the perfect holiday resort from first glance, it definitely wasn't. Lorcan had spent his time fighting of vicious wild animals and avoiding poisonous plants that were fatal even to fæ. However, the thing that worried Lorcan the most was the fact that he hadn't seen a single guard not even one of Meaves wolves to greet him and that scared him. Where were all of Meaves forces? Just as the question crossed his mind the answer came flashing, if he knew Meave well enough..... Her forces were in Doranelle. Right where Rowan was heading. Lorcan cursed as he dodged a fallen branch. He needed to find Meaves base, get Aelin out and warn Rowan. With that simple plan in mind Lorcan headed of to search the last corner of the island.

He'd been aimlessly stumbling around the dense forest for what felt like ages. He didn't know what he was looking for, he didn't know if he would ever find it. Just as he'd given up hope an immense heat clung to him, all around him leaves shrivelled and lakes evaporated as they dried up. Sweat ran down Lorcan's face to his exposed chest, running down the lines of his sculpted abs. Aelin. This could only be coming from Aelin. One second there was forest next a sea of fire erupted into the sky. Animals ran past him in terror attempting to get away from the red monster but Lorcan ran towards it. Aelin, she was alive. There was hope. He ran and ran pushing himself to the limits coming to a sudden holt when he came to the edge of the fire. Heart thundering he reach a hand into the flame. Surprised to find it didn't harm him Lorcan didn't hesitate as he sprinted into the inferno.

An old abandoned temple, for a forgotten queen. That was where they had kept the queen of Terrasen. An old abandoned temple in the Kingdom of Ash. Lorcan nearly laughed at the irony but now wasn't the time. He carried on running, never stopping, never hesitating. He followed corridor after corridor until he came open the throne room. And at the heart of the fire was his brother comforting his queen, trying to get her out of magics grasp. It wasn't working. Aelin was weak after all she had suffered through, it wasn't going to work unless... Lorcan slowly approached.

"Aelin listen to me!" Lorcan interrupted. Aelin didn't respond she was too far deep.
"Rowan believes you're in Doranelle" Lorcan exclaimed laying a comforting hand on her shoulder, an attempt to ground her to this world not the next. Her power lessened at the mention of Rowan and the flames in her eyes flickered. He carried on.
"Rowan, your mate, is heading into a trap. We need to go now!" Lorcan shouted desperation infiltrating his voice but It worked. Suddenly she collapsed and before Lorcan could move to catch her Fenrys had her in his arms. Her flames vanished.
"Rowan" was all she could mutter before unconsciousness took a hold of her.

As Fenrys gently laid her down in the ground his tunic positioned under her head like a pillow Lorcan took in their surroundings. The fire hadn't destroyed anything, it was fire specifically created to destroy only what its master wanted it to and from the two piles of ash mixed in with the dirt on the floor Lorcan guessed what had happened. Meave gone, dead;it was hard to believe but it had happened. Cornall approached from the shadows just as Fenrys said "She's not going to last long like this." Lorcan quickly knelt down beside the queen, they had come to far to loose her now.
"She's suffering a burnout, using that much power that quickly in her weakened state..." Fenrys didn't need to finish the rest. There had to be something they could do. Her mate.
"We have to get her to Rowan!" Lorcan said already picking Aelin of the floor.
"We can't there is no way we can get to Doranelle in time she will die on the journey!" Fenrys exclaimed, Lorcan noticed and ignored the tears gathering in the corner of his eyes.
"You could jump" Lorcan muttered "We could get to Doranelle in seconds."
"You know I can't, it's impossible." Fenrys said the words barely audible.
"It's all we got" Lorcan said handing Aelins fragile too light body to Fenrys. Fenrys nodded. Ignoring Cornall approaching Lorcan placed a hand on Fenrys right shoulder and was shocked when Cornall did the same to the left. Fenrys merely nodded at Lorcan not acknowledging his brother.

Fenrys
What Lorcan had asked him to do... It was impossible but he would have to try, so much was at risk here. Taking a deep breath he closed his eyes in concentration, he felt Lorcans hand on his shoulder and then Cornall's on his other. The throne room in Doranelle a clear picture in his mind. Suddenly, darkness over took and he was stuck in the void between worlds navigating his way to Doranelle. The extra wait of people and the extra distance took its toll but the reason drove him forward. He could feel his power draining but he had to do this; for Aelin, for the world that needed her light. Somewhere through the darkness a word came to him winnowing.

Lorcan again.
There was no other way to explain it one minute they were in the throne room in the kingdom of ash and then the next they were in the throne room in Doranelle. Fenrys gasped in astonishment but not before Lorcan noticed his weakened state and quickly grabbed Aelin from him. Fenrys nodded in thanks before he sunk to the ground panting. With Fenrys out of action Lorcan turned to Cornall they could both hear the fighting outside and they knew what they had to do. Lorcan placed Aelin, who was still unconscious, gently next to Fenrys before he ran of into battle.

There were thousands of them, Meaves soldiers. It was easy to spot Rowan and Gavriel fighting back to back; where they swung their swords or used their magic soldiers fell. Swiftly, deadly and efficient. Lorcan was surprised to see Gavriels son also fighting back to back with the shape shifter who had shifted into a ghost leopard as they tore men apart. Part of the army of silent assassins were also here. They were winning. Lorcan tore through the battle blood spraying everywhere, the men who chose to oppose him quickly fell. Panting Lorcan approached Rowan but Rowan was already running towards him and Cornall taking his place beside Gavriel in one swift movement.
"Where is she ?!" Rowan gasped. Lorcan merely turned and ran back towards the throne room. Cutting a path back towards the entrance, bodies falling in their wake.

Soldiers ran the other way when they saw the ancient fæ warriors that once levelled a city.

Well that's this chapter! Hope it was okay.

I was going to do the next chapter from Rowans point of view but is there anyone else's point of view u want the rescue to be written from, I might do Lysandra as well, but I wanted your opinions in case you thinks it's too much.
