True Love Hurts {T.H.}

   You lay on your bed, the sunlight from coming through your window brushing your face and lighting up your eyes. You feel as if you are laying on a fluffy, white cloud. Turning your head, you see Tom staring at you in admiration. Your eyes widen and you shake your head to see if it's real. 

   It's not. 

   The day starts, the boring, routine day. Coffee, work, lunch, work, dinner, sleep. Things used to be so much better when Tom was here. A day with him never seemed boring or routine like. Every day was a new page in your favourite chapter of your story. You could see vibrant colours with him, but since he left everything was black and white. 

   A smile tugs at the corner of your lips as a memory of him surfaces. 

   It was your 20th birthday. You and Tom just hopped in the car and drove to an open field in the country. Sitting on top of the car, he held you close with the blanket around you two and sipped his beer.

   The stars were absolutely beautiful that night. They showing off all of their glory, shining like miniature diamonds in the sky.  

   "Marry me," Tom asked randomly. Caught off guard you say nothing, mouth agape.

   "Please?" he asked with a cheeky smile. 

   "Of course," you answered softly, leaning in to kiss him. He grabs your hand and slips the ring on your finger.  

   That was one of the happiest days of your life. Today's the day, you thought. I'm going to go see him.  

   You hop in your car and drive for a bit listening to his favourite playlist. Now parking, you take a shaky breath before getting out. You can see him in the distance. Walking towards him, you sit on the ground next to him.

    "Hi darling, I miss you," you say quietly. "And I love you." You whisper to the gravestone.

I apologize for the shortness of this and for my extremely long hiatus. I was working all summer and when summer was over I started binging Supernatural (I'm high key in love with Dean Winchester and I'm going to marry him).
