"Movie day?" Tom suggested, with a childish grin plastered on his face.

"Sure, Dad won't be back for a while so it will pass the time I guess," I replied, glad he had suggested something that didn't involve too much talking, which meant less opportunity for me to make myself look like an idiot.

"Which movie would you like to watch now?" He asked.

"How about 'Bad teacher'? I suggested, perhaps gawking at Justin Timberlake would distract me from the god-like boy sat about ten centimeters away from me.

"Sure" Tom replied, much to my excitement.

The beginning title sequence began and I got comfy on the sofa, cuddling into the array of blankets. Tom stood up and walked over to the other sofa adjacent to mine and sat  down. It hurt slightly, but I guess there was no room for us both, especially with me lay flat out like this plus we didn't really know each other yet. What did I expect? For him to cuddle me?

The movie began and my eyes were fixed to the screen for most part, but I kept feeling Tom's gaze fix onto me and whenever I turned to look at him he would turn away, with a slight flush in his cheeks. This was most definitely not helping with my anxiety issues.

The movie finished a while later and my ribs hurt from laughing it was a great film and had put me in a great mood, which due to the current situation, was a surprise.  Not to mention Justin, he deserves an Oscar for  just his face, but his acting is alright too, I guess.

I walked to the kitchen to grab a few snacks for our movie marathon, settling on popcorn, sweet of course. Bowl in hand I walked back to Tom in the living room, who had moved from his previous position, and was now sat up stretching, I couldn't help look at his tones stomach which was on display slightly  from when he reached his arms upwards.

"Ellie?" Tom said, slightly concerned, causing me to blink hard.

" W-what are we watching?" I asked sweetly, sighing internally at being caught gawping.

"Saw 5" He said with a smirk.

"Isn't that scary?" I asked, feeling a little panicked.

"Yeah!" He said enthusiastically.

"Great" I said sarcastically.

"You're not scared are you?" He asked in a mocking tone.

"N...no" I said trying to sound brave.

"Good " He smiled, clearly not believing a word of what I'd just said.

The movie started and I left the room quickly to get pillows because 'I was uncomfy' the real reason was so I could hide behind them, but Tom didn't need to know that.

"Here" I said throwing a pillow at Tom, which hit in square in the face.

I let out a small giggle, but I soon stopped as I saw his stern facial expression.

"So that's funny is it Ellie?" He asked, raising his eyebrows slightly.

I nodded and braced myself as he ran over to me, pillow in hand. He reached me and started hitting me with the pillow, causing me to burst into a fit of laughter and bury myself under the many blankets once again.

"Wooo, I'm a ghost " I said laughing.

"Mature" Tom mocked.

"Shut it you, Mr do you want to build a snowman?" I said whilst getting settled on the sofa again now that my giggling had subsided.

The movie had already began and I watched it with my eyes nearly closed, which I guess isn't technically watching, but never mind. The movie went on and it started to get a little more scary and as it was getting dark outside which didn't help the situation. I hid behind my pillow and took out my phone and decided to go on twitter instead, which in my opinion, was far more amusing.

'@ellie_team_gb: Watching saw 5 with a certain @TomDaley1994 it's scary :('

I suddenly had an influx  of followers for mentioning I knew Tom, presumably. I also got a few replies which was strange for me, as usually my most witty and hilarious tweets didn't even get replies, let alone one as simple as stating I was watching a movie.  My eyes snapped up as I saw a light from the other side of the room, Tom was on his phone. My phone then also lit up, signifying I had gotten a new interaction, I quickly opened up my twitter account to see that Tom had followed me and then tweeted me.

'@TomDaley1994:ellie_team_gb  is such a baby! :P'

'@ellie_team_gb: @TomDaley1994 is a Bully'

'@TomDaley1994 :@ellie_team_gb is a chicken'

'@ellie_team_gb :  @TomDaley1994 likes to build snowmen, btw I hate you Tom'

'@TomDaley1994 : I love you too @ellie_team_gb'

I put my phone back in my pocket as something tapped my shoulder making me scream and drop my phone, due to the unexpectedness.

"Tom don't do that!" I screamed, slapping him away playfully.

"Sorry hun" Tom said smiling, adorably.

"You better be" I pouted.

"Are you still scared?"Tom asked, suddenly with a  serious tone.

I nodded, slightly embarrassed to admit it,but Tom put his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him. He proceeded to pull the blanket over us both as I cuddled up to his side and I felt safer now. The movie didn't scare me that much anymore, not that I was really watching it, all I could think about was Tom and how close he was to me.

The scariest bit of the film had arrived, where the killer jumped out and filled the screen. I let out a little scream without warning, and Tom simply squeezed my waist a little letting my know he was there for me. I blushed slightly at how much of a baby I was being. Just as my heart rate was returning back to normal, the lights went out!  I began to tremble as my heart thudded in my chest, and I'm pretty sure Tom could feel how hard my heart was beating.

"It's okay, maybe it's just a fuse?" Tom said as he pulled me into a hug, I relaxed slightly as I breathed in his musky scent.  As if things couldn't get any worse, there was a knock on the front door. I froze. I didn't like how this was fast turning into a horror film with a predictable plot.

Tom thankfully stood up and went to answer it,  and returned shortly after, apparently there was no one there. Probably just kids messing about, he explained. I was terrified even so, but Tom made me feel slightly at ease, or as comfortable as you could be during a power cut just after a scary movie.

Thankfully, it had started to rain hard now, melting the snow, so things should return to normal tomorrow. However, there was a Storm brewing. A flash of lightening and a rumble of thunder sounded and I buried myself under my duvet once again. For some reason this made me feel safe, I was just like a little kid! There was soon another mighty crash and I ran to the window to see that the 'den' (treehouse) in the tree had fell to the slushy ground. That was my entire childhood, gone, in the blink of an eye.

Tom stood behind me and wrapped his arms around me I began to cry and the tears were falling thick and fast, the only memories of Mum before she left were in that tree house. We use read together in there during the summer. I hope Tom didn't notice because the power was still out so it was pitch black, but I think he knew because he led me back towards the sofa. We sat back on the sofa and Tom cuddled me again to try and calm me down, but right now all I wanted was to be alone. Tom somehow soothed me into a light sleep, which was soon ruined by the sound of two loud beeps. Tom's phone and mine, going off at the same time.

We both looked at each other before Tom got up to get his phone and answered it...
