Chapter 2

"Sam!" she squealed running up to him and I sighed. I looked over at Zayn and faked a smile.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked not trying to sound rude.

"Just wanted surprise the most beautiful girl in the world." he said grinning and I smiled.

"Perrie, Sam and I are going out to explore for a bit, we'll be back later tonight ok." Jade said and I felt disappointed. I thought this trip would just be Jade and I. I thought we'd be spending all of our time together, but I was wrong. She probably won't spend much time with me now that Sam is here.

"Alright. Can we do something later tonight?" I asked and she nodded. I watched as Jade and Sam walked out of the room and I sighed.

"This gives us some time alone." Zayn said with a smirk.

"Whatever you have in mind it's not happening."

"Oh come on baby." he said pouting.

"No, I'm not in the mood."

"You're never in the mood."

"That must mean something. I'm going to go to a few shops. You can come if you'd like."

"I didn't come all the way down here to go shopping." he said and I was starting to getting annoyed with him.

"Then what the hell did you come down here for?"

"You know exactly why."

"That's the thing about you. All you want is sex! Relationships aren't only about that."

"I know that, but having sex once in a while would be nice." he said and I sighed. He was right our sex life was dead, but I couldn't imagine him touching me mainly because I didn't want to be touched by him. Sex would be meaningless with him.

"Ok I admit our sex life is dead, but you can't just plan when you're going to have sex, it's just some thing that happens."

"It hasn't happened with us in a long time."

"There's a reason."

"What's that reason?" he asked with a concern look.

"Zayn, I care for you very much, but every day that I'm in this relationship with you I realize that I'm not in love with you. I'm in love with someone else." I said his face went from anger to sadness.

"Oh, how long have you been in love with them? Most importantly when did your feelings for me end?" he asked as he sat on one of the beds looking down.

"I've been in love with them for a few months now, and I'm going to be very honest right now. I can't really say I've ever been in love with you. I only started dating you to get over this other person, but it hasn't worked." I said. He nodded and stood up.

"I understand. Who is this other person?"

"I can't exactly say."

"I came down here so I can spend my summer with you, not trying to get over you."

"I'm sorry, but think about the positive side to this."

"What positive side? I've been in love with you the whole time we've been together and now you tell me you didn't even love me."

"Ok I know that sounds bad, but we're starting college and you'll meet plenty of over people. You'll find someone else."

"You're right. I'll take my stuff and check into another room." he said grabbing his bags and walking out. I sighed. Now I was alone and had hurt him. Hurting him was something I didn't want to do, but pretending to love him was hurting me. It's better that I told him now than in a few months or possibly years when he'd probably want to get married.

Later that night Jade still hadn't gotten back. It was already eight'oclock and I was starving. I wasn't going to sit around and wait until she decided she wanted to spend time with me. I left the room and went out to buffet that was a few blocks away. I grabbed myself a plate and filled it completely. I sat in one of the smaller tables alone. It really did bother me when one person would take a table that was meant for about five people. As I ate I watched happy couples with children, lonely people like me, and happy teenagers who thought they'd be together forever walk up and down getting more and more food. Sitting here alone watching others sucked. I thought about how I could be with Zayn right now and we could be here together talking, laughing, and enjoying each others company, but if we were together right now the guilt would be eating me up and I was tired of feeling guilty.

When I got back to the hotel room I saw Jade and Sam there. She was laughing, he had his arm around her, and I stood there with jealousy.

"Oh hey there Perrie!" Jade said and stood up to give me a hug. I smiled and hugged back.

"You're happy to see me."

"I am! It's great hanging out with Sam and all, but he doesn't compare to you."

"I'm right here you know." he said and acted like he was hurt. That was the thing about Sam he tried to be funny, and he was to Jade, but to me he wasn't funny.

"Yea yea." she said rolling her eyes. "Where's Zayn? When we got here his stuff was gone."

"Oh he checked into another room."

"Did you guys have a big fight?"

"We broke up." I said shrugging.

"Aw Perrie I'm sorry. Do you want to take a walk and we can talk about it?"

"Yea that'd be nice." I said.

"Alright. We can have some girl time." she said trying to cheer me up, but what she didn't know was that this is what I'd been waiting for all day. We went outside and started walking with no destination in mind.

"So how'd it happen?" she asked.

"Well he wanted to have sex and I wasn't in the mood. We started fighting about having a dead sex life and I told him that it was dead because I was in love with someone else."

"You're what?!?" she asked shocked.

"I'm in love with somebody else."

"Who?"

"I can't say."

"You know you can tell me anything. At least hint who they are."

"I can't because I know they don't love me back the same way."

"Oh please Perrie! You're a wonderful person. How could they not love you back?"

"Because they love someone else already."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Do I know who they are though?"

"Trust me, you know them better than anyone else." I said sighing.

"That weird boy Freddie from the yogurt shop?"

"No. I don't want to say who it is." I said, but what I really wanted to say was 'it's you and it's always been and always will be you.'

"Alright, but hints would help out a lot."

"Ok, I'll start you off with a hint."

"Yay!" she squealed.

"I'm in love with a girl." I said.

"A girl. Ok what else can you tell me about her?
