*Meanwhile in space*

   "Everyone sound off." Keith said as the timer on his helmet beeped. "Lance here" "Pidge here." "Allura here" "Hunk?" Keith asked. "I'm hiding" he replied. "I need you to sound off Hunk. It's important to maintain mental acuity in these situations. These techniques helped my mom and I through the quantum abyss." Keith said. "Keith is right. Being lost in space has been known to drive one mad. Too much time contemplating infinity is not good for the mind." Allura replied. "I like to keep.busy by calculating pi out as far as I can. The record is 4 quadrillion, but that's using the Hadoop parallization framework. I'm just using my brain." Pidge said. Hunk chuckled "Hadoop." He said.

    "Wait guys! Look! Lights!" Lance said, suddenly perking up and pointing. "Told you Lance would go crazy first." Hunk said. "No, no, no, no! I see them! There really are lights!" Pidge said, springing up too. In the distance the Paladin's saw a bright light surrounded by smaller looking lights. "Perhaps it's a ship!" Allura said. "Oh, yes! Yes! We're rescued!" Hunk said excitedly. Soon they saw millions of what looked like some sort of flying creatures with lights on their wings and tails. "Amazing" Pidge said in awe as she looked at the creatures fly by. "Their beautiful." Allura said, also in awe. The creatures flew around them in a circle. "We should follow them." Hunk suggested. "What?" Lance asked. "Yeah. They must be heading somewhere. Like a hive or something. Wherever that is it must be better then floating around here just, like, starving to death." Hunk said as he looked over at Lance.

   "Hunks right. Let's follow them. Everyone stay together." Keith said before he started up his jetpack. The other paladins did the same and then all the creatures turned into a yellow dust and disappeared. Everyone gasped. "Where'd they go?" Lance said and looked around. "Were they even real?" Allura asked, very confused. "I guess they could have been a hallucination. But that usually only happens when you're going mad." Pidge suggested.

*Time skip*

   Keith's alarm beeped again. "Everyone." He let out a breath. "Everyone sound off." He said. "Allura here" "Lance here" "Pidge here" "Hunk, sound off imediatly!" Keith said, getting frustrated. "Keith you don't have to--" "It's okay, Allura. It's okay. I was just kind of, you know, lost in this fantasy that we'd get back to earth and you know, the Garrison would throw us a parade and all that stuff, and then, you know, maybe I'd meet some hot shot pilot who wanted to check out the yellow lion, and then maybe the yellow lion would take a shine to her, obviously, and then I'd be like, Whoa.  Whoa I can't stand in- between you two. The bond is strong here." Hunk said.

    "Hunk, what are you talking about?" Lance asked."Fantasizing about quitting Voltron." Keith replied. "No, no, no, no, not quitting. No. Just, you know, being the bigger man. Just stepping aside to pass the baton down to a younger generation." Hunk stated. "Am I quote wrong or is Hunk still very young by earth standards?" Allura asked. "No I think time is different for me, like I'm on dog years or something." Hunk said. Soon a red electrifying like smoke surrounded the paladins and started shocking them.

   "AH! What's happening?" Pidge asked as the lighting like thing grabbed her foot. "What is this?" Lance screamed. "I'm being pulled away!" Allura said panicly. Everyone held ontoeachother as the red lighting attempted to pull them apart. "Something is attacking us! Keith what do we do?" Hunk asked.

    Everyone's voices drowned out in Keith's head. He vaguely heard Allura say "I can't hold on!" Before snapping and getting the red lighting out of the way by using his Bayard. Soon everything faded out and pidge held onto Keith again. "My Bayard wont work. We don't know where the Lions are. We're being attacked by things we can't even see." Keith said angirly. The paladins looked back at him worried. "Keith what are you talking about? There's nothing our there. It's just us...." Lance said and he grabbed onto Keiths other hand. "But I swear there was--never mind." Keith replied. He huffled as the palidins got re settled and started questioning if what he had just seen was even real.
