I lay in bed, looking at my phone. It wasn't on, I was just waiting for something to appear on the screen. Something important or interesting. After a while, I open it and go into messages.

Me- So, what's up with you?

I close my phone and get up. I don't wait for a reply.

"Mike?" I call

"Hm yeah?" He calls back

"What are you doing?" I ask

"Playing games. Why?" He said

"I'm bored" I reply

"Come here" he calls

I groan and slide out of bed. I walk into the living room. Mike was on the couch with his Xbox controller in hand.

"What are you playing?" I ask

"(Fave/game)" He replied

"Can I play?" I ask

"Sure" He chucks me a controller and I join the game.

TIME SKIP

"I'm just gonna go check my phone" I say.

I walk to the room and sit on the bed as I grab my phone.

I had a message.

Vincent- I don't know

Me- What were you thinking

Vincent- Why do you care?

Me- I don't know really

Vincent- I'm sorry, ok

Me- I can't accept this over text, its not official enough

Vincent- Uhh, your so annoying

Me- I'M annoying

Vincent- Fine, meet me at the park at 3:00

Me- ok?

I look at the time, 2:40

"Mike!" I call

"What!"

"I need you to do something for me!"

"Come here!"

I groan and walk to the living room.

"What do you want?" He asked

"Vincent wants me to meet him at the park so he can apologise" I say

"What!" Mike shoots up from his seat, anger surging through his body. "No, I don't want you to be anywhere near him!"

"No, you need to trust me" I argue back "The only reason I told you, is because I want you to come with me"

He opened his mouth to argue, but no words came out.

I grin and walk closer to him "So?" I tease

"Mmm, ok fine" He sighs

"Cool, lets go" I pull his am and drag him out the door

...

As the park came into view, I turn to Mike. He was tense and holding in the urge to yell.

"I know you don't want to do this" I say calmly "But, thanks"

He loosened up a bit and a small smile made its way to his face "No problem"

I smile and Mike parks the car.

"Ok, lets do this" I say as I open the door and jump out of the car.

Mike was not as enthusiastic and slowly got out and made his way over to where I was. Time: 4:01

"Where is he?" I mumble to myself

I look around and don't see him. A few minutes pass and I could tell Mike was becoming impatient.

"He better be here soon" He groaned

I check my phone 4:10

"Hang on, I'll text him" I say

Me- Where are you

Vincent- Sorry, I'll be there soon

Me- you better be

A few more minutes pass when a car pulls up next to Mike's. Vincent makes his way out of the drivers seat. His head was wrapped in bandages and he was wearing a purple hoodie.

"Finally" Mike groans in annoyance

"Sorry, I had.. stuff to do" He says before he walks over to us.

"So lets get this over with" Mike grumbles

"Ok, ok" Vincent holds up his hands mockingly and walks over to me.

"y/n, I'm sorry" he says "I don't know what I was thinking, and it won't happen again"

"maybe" he then added quietly

"O-ok then" I say sceptically "so we can go now right?"

"Yeah sure whatever" Vincent answered

"C'mon lets go" Mike grabs my hand and pulls me back to the car.

"See, it wasn't that bad" I sat

He groans and doesn't reply. I sigh and decide to just keep quiet. The car ride home was awkward and silent. I look over to Mike, he had his eyes on the road and didn't look very happy. My eyes slowly shift to the aux chord and silently, I pick it up. I quietly plug it into my phone and go into Spotify (or whatever music app you have) I go into the playlist that Mike and I made together. It was full of stupid songs that we both would laugh at. I turn in the radio and play Cherry Bomb. The music plays and Mike begins to loosen up a bit. He smiles softly and I smile too, glad that he was (hopefully) out of his mood. We both start singing along. Song after song played until we got home. Mike parks the car and I lean over to him, giving him a small kiss on the cheek. He looks over to me and smiles.

"I love you" I say

"I love you too" he replied, without hesitation.
