I was stunned to even speak. They left me R3900 to look for them. I found myself smiling and looking at Russel.

But I don't need the money I just need to know they care. I just want to feel their warm hug engulf me.

I stared at the money before me. It was all going too fast.

"I'm not going to spend the money." I told Russel.

"River. They gave this money to you."

I shrugged. "It doesn't solve any problem. Why don't they come looking for me?" I nearly yell.

"Maybe it's for the best." He told me staring directly at my eyes I could see his pupils.

I was exhausted. I didn't sleep well last night.

I was lost. I didn't understand why my parents would do this.
I was thankful that Russel was here with me, I wouldn't do this , without him.

"Don't give up on your life River " was the last thing he said then I fell asleep.
