"Zuku! Slow down, would you!?" Izuku turned back to see his sister running to catch up, the sounds of cheap plastic and thin metal scrapping against each other coming from her as she started walking in time with her brother. "Jeez, I stop for three minutes and you're on the damn near other side of the school. Makes me think that maybe you don't want this melon bread I got. And it was the last one too. Such a shame."

"I-Ika! That's not it at all!" Izuku complained, watching as his sister smirked, tossing the bread and a rather thin can of coffee to him with a chuckle.

"I was only joking, Zuku. Now eat, you need the strength." Izuku nodded, tearing into his melon bread breakfast and grinning, sighing in content. "You really like that bread, huh?"

"Yeah! It'sh sho good, Ika!" Izuku spoke, mouth almost bursting with the spongy grain he was eating. His face made her laugh softly, taking a bite of one of the rice cakes she had picked up for herself. Unlike his, Ichika's body doesn't do well with sugar this early in the morning. After breakfast, however, that's the only thing she would actually be craving for the rest of the day. It's weird, yeah, but she's gotten used to it over the years.

The two of them opened the door to their new classroom, Class 1-A, only to be hit with smoke, hot air, and the sound of yelling between two males. As the smoke cleared, the Midoriyas were left staring at their childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugou, yelling at an almost robotic boy with squared features and a very assertive 'boi' hand that he used to scold the blond. Something about disrespecting the students who sat in the desks before him.

"As if I give a fuck about those shitty ass extras! Die, fucking Four Eyes!" Katsuki yelled, flipping off the glasses wearing student. Those two were like night and day, and Ichika had instantly recognized the blond boy. 'Looks like he hasn't changed very much. Such a shame, really.'

Ignoring the situation in front of them, Ichika took Izuku's wrist, ready to lead him inside, when they heard someone call out for them. Well, more specifically, one of them. "Midoriya! I'm so glad to see you--ah! There's two of you!"

The twins looked behind them to see Ochako Uraraka, Izuku immediately blushing, nearly dropping his breakfast. "U-Uraraka! I, uh, go-good morning!" Ichika looked over at her brother, her gaze shooting between the two as it clicked. 'I see now. Zuku likes this Uraraka girl. I wonder when they met.'

Ichika leaned in close to her stuttering brother, cupping her hand and keeping her voice to a whisper. "Zuku, I'm going to find us some seats. Give me your bag, okay?" Izuku nodded, gently handing off his things with a soft 'thank you' before going back to his conversation with Ochako. With that, Ichika separated herself from her brother, putting away her rice cake in her own bag before making her way to the back of the room. Seeing that Katsuki was already sending her brother daggers from his place near the front, having just noticed the forest haired boy, logically she would want them to be in the back so to avoid him as much as possible.

While she was walking, her eyes caught onto a rather unique person who lingered on the back wall, silent, cold, and calculating. 'Interesting...I should go talk to him,' she thought, setting the bags down on an empty seat, the two seats on either side also being left unclaimed. Making a beeline towards the boy, she put on her most friendly smile as he noticed her coming over, narrowing his eyes a bit. 'Those eyes...they are actually quite pretty.'

"Hi! My name is Ichika Midoriya. I noticed you were hanging back here on your own, and thought you could use some company," she introduced, being sure to be rather cheery while doing it. 'His face and the aura around him seem powerful. Yet, at the same time, his eyes make it seem like he'll fall apart at any second. Just who is he?'

"Do what you wish," was all he said, going back to studying the class's members as they walked into the room. Ichika had moved to the boy's left, leaning against the wall and pulling out her phone and sorting through her notifications. 'Two new texts from Nico in the past ten minutes. He must be on dinner break.'

While she was texting her friend, Ichika couldn't help but to glance over at the boy she tried to befriend, focusing mainly on the blue of his left eye. In her eyes, the color could only be compared to the cornflowers that she used to have Nico braid in her hair, and vise versa. The light, almost pastel color of her childhood made her smile a bit, and before she could stop it, she found herself staring almost longingly at the boy she never met before.

"What are you staring at?" The boy's voice snapped her into reality, warmness painting her cheeks as she was caught red-handed. She snapped her head downwards, embarrassed, and stared at her feet instead.

"S-Sorry. I-I didn't mean to stare," she apologized, tucking a stray hair behind her ear. She knew she should've minded her own business, but she couldn't help it. Something about this boy allured her, and she was determined to find out what. "It's just, um, yo-your eye is..."

'I knew it,' the boy thought, sighing a little as the girl stumbled over her words. This kind of thing happened with nearly every person he's met. His scar was the only thing they were concerned with, when it was really none of their business. 'I have heard all their excuses before. She might as well admit that the only reason why she came over was because she wanted to know about--.'

"I-I just thought...your eye looked really...really beautiful..." The boy couldn't help but blink in bewilderment, head now turned to see the flushed, forest haired girl. "I, I should have, should have asked you fir-first, but I, I didn't and I'm sorr-ry. I'll go if, if you wish me to, to do so."

There was a tense silence between them as Ichika awaited her answer, stature both tensed and openly submissive, in a way. When there was no answer after a while, Ichika lifted her head up slowly, turning to meet the mismatched gaze of the boy she had came over to meet, his right being a smoky gray, the color of a camera's flash. 'His other eye is just as gorgeous too.'

"You were not...staring at my scar?" he asked, his once flat tone giving away his bewilderment. Ichika offered a small grin, her eyes and stance softening. 'He must get this kind of this often.'

"Everyone has their scars. Some are simply unfortunate enough to have them where the world can see. However, just because I can see them doesn't make them any less private to you, so I will not press you for information to satiate my own curiosities."
