"Thanks buddy," Dylan sat on the chaise lounge and smiled particularly at no one while talking to his cellphone. "I'll actually meet her today and tell her the news."
Ann looked around the area as she walked towards the direction of Dylan by the pool.
"She's here. Talk to you soon," Dylan said as he saw Ann approaching and ended the call. He stood up and faced Ann.
"You know, you should be careful in unlocking your door," Ann warned. "You're an actor with millions of fans, and millions of crazy fans."
"Noted," he smiled.
"Where's Reagan? Did something bad happen to her?" her eyes widened in fear.
"Relax, will you? Reagan's out for some errands."
"Then why did you call me?"
"I called you because I have an offer for you."
"Offer? What offer?"
"I talked to the editor of DENO magazine. They want you to grace the cover of next month's edition," he shared.
DENO magazine, a very well-renowned magazine in the fashion industry. Models have been dying to grace its cover. Ann blinked multiple times in disbelief, "Me? Cover?"
Dylan nodded.
"H-how-why-ho-ho-how?" Ann gasped.
"I've seen your works, you portfolios, I must say, you have the potential," he said.
"You mean, you got me this job?"
"Yes." Dylan nodded again.
Ann crossed her arms over her chest. "You're not doing this because you want me to talk your way through to Reagan, are you?"
Dylan rolled his eyes. "No. I did it because you are good and I want to help you boost up your career. And where did you get that idea anyway that I want you to talk my way to Reagan?"
"I have eyes, Dylan," she said it matter-of-factly.
"And I have eyes too. That is why I decided to give you this break," Dylan said, flipping the subject.
