Chapter 50

After what felt like forever, and like twenty songs, I checked my phone and seen it was 11:00.

"Hey."

"Yeah?"

"I think the meteor shower starts at midnight, want to go out early?"

"Sure."

See, I didn't leave the gym for that reason specially, I left because I felt like I was being watched by angry eyes.

We walked outside and sat down on the grass.

"Wow it's actually colder out here than I thought."

Blyke then took off his jacket and put it over my shoulders. "Better?"

"A little, thanks."

"So um,"

"What?"

"Is it too awkward to bring up that one time?"

"What do you mean?"

"When you kissed me out of the blue."

I could feel my face redden.

"Um, I don't think so, why?"

"Well you know I've always liked you, and you obviously shown you like me, so..?"

"So.. what?"

"Are we, you know... dating now?"

"You wait this long to ask!?"

"Well?"

"Yeah, are you?" There was a voice behind me.

Blyke and I turned around and seen John standing there.

"What are you doing there? Are you spying on us?"

"So what?"

"You have no right to do that!"

"What makes you say that? We never officially broken up, so what's the matter?"

"John," I stood up. "Now is not the time to be doing this."

"I don't care."

"I do!"

"Why? So you can go doing what you did a week ago? You going to pull one of those again?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about." He scoffed. "Both Blyke and Sera seen it too."

"John, just leave me alone."

"Tell me why I should, and I might consider it."

"How about the fact that I can snap your neck in two seconds."

"Think that'll scare me?" His eyes started glowing.

"John, please, just back off." Blyke spoke up.

"Blyke, stay out of this." I commanded.

"But-!"

"I said stay out of it!" I yelled and turned my head to him.

I turned back around, facing John.

"What's the little princess going to do, protect her prince? I thought it's supposed to be the other way around."

I could feel my anger building up.

"Will you shut up." I growled.

"What are you-"

"I said shut up!" I glared at him. I activated my ability and stood there.

"Kami, please calm down." Blyke whispered.
