Chapter 8: The Impending Doom

After she changed into her pajamas, she got to the second bed and lay sleepily on it before bidding good night in which I returned with kindness. I turned off the Redstone lamp and went back to my bed as i lay down on the bed and closed my eyes before drifting off into a dreamless slumber

{Jack POV}

After the meeting at Royal Inn and Cafe, i went back to mine and Nurm's Adventure Emporium. When I got there from a short walk from the Cafe and the Emporium since both buildings located in the same on the same Alley, Nurm and Archie, a friend's parrot were outside the shop, waiting on the front bench. Nurm is holding a cup of hot coffee and Archie perching on the Bench on top of the bench's backrest

"Hey Nurmie! Hey Archie! Are you to waiting for me?" I greeted them as I yawned, tired because of how late it is

Nurmie nodded and spoke in Villager languagr "Hey Jack! Sure we are. By the way, I found something that might be interesting to you"

"Oh, Yeah? What is it?" I asked, curiously as I walked closer to them

Nurm put his cup of coffee on the table before speaking "come on in first! I'll show you" he stood up from the Bench he sat, walked to the door and opened it

I whistled for Archie "Hey Archie! Come here!" I called to Archie to make him flew to me and he perks on my shoulder as i followed Nurm inside the shop

"Come on in!" Nurmie invited in Villager language. He lead me to our secret room inside the basement. I was confused by this. All I know is that we only placed our important books and journals here along with some classified and unexplained relics from our Adventure

"Uh, here? Our Basement aka Secret Room? What exactly are you going to show me, Nurm?" I asked Nurm, both feeling confused and curious about what he was going to show

"Oh, this is going to blow your mind" Nurmie said in Villager language as we got inside the room

"Hmmm" when we entered the room, it was dark as always so Nurm walked to the Redstone Lamp activator and flipped it up to turn on the lamps in the room and right there is when I noticed something unfamiliar in that room. It was a huge map of the entire eastern region. What attracted me is this huge town with dark-ish kingdom design (German Forces Base), lots of big camps and other towns (Other Axis Forces Bases). There's also a weird but for some reason this symbol gave me the creeps and makes me so uneasy. The symbol takes the form of a cross, the arms of which are of equal length and perpendicular to the adjacent arms, each bent midway at a right angle but in clockwise form. The symbol was placed inside a white circle and red color all around the white circle and the symbol (Nazi Party Banner/Third Reich Flag)

"Uh, Nurm, what the heck is all this!?" I asked, gesturing to the map. Don't get me wrong, I'm really amazed by this map. It was one big map of the Eastern Region

Then Nurm proceed to explain in Villager language while showing the map "this is the map of the eastern area of the Minetopia. As you can see there are many huge towns and camps around this region, the big one is in the center of all other towns and camps around it and apparently it was bigger than even The Champion City"

"Wow, The Eastern Region? Hmmmm, i thought the Eastern Are is just... Well, y'know, the Old order's temple" I said. Then i let Archie to freely fly around the room

"Yes, that's correct Jack. But Jack, i just expanded and upgraded the map from an observation a few days ago" Nurm told me in Villager language. I give him a thumbs up to show how happy and amazed I am of his work in expanding and upgrading the Map
