[Disclaimer, the game seven minutes in heaven originated in Cincinnati mid 1950s, however for the purpose of this story we shall pretend that it originated avonlea Canada, created by the mischievous Josie Pye]⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The smell of scrumptious treats wafted through the air, Annes nose lit up with each sniff of cookies and other assorted snacks. The time for lunch was almost here and everyone in the class was counting down the moments until Miss Stacy announced the class had ended. Today was no ordinary day, today was the big Christmas party all the students of avonlea had looked forward to. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Alright class, English shall end when someone can name this play. It was written involving 3 story's that would interlace" after the first clue all the children shouted answers rambunctiously towards the front of the classroom. No one seemed to understand so Miss Stacy decided to reveal another clue. "My fair Hermia" theatrically shouted Miss Stacy. "A Midsummer Night's Dream!" Shouted Anne dramatically from the second row. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Correct!" Responded Miss Stacy beaming with pride. "Congratulations, school is out for Christmas vacation!" She announced to the class, receiving cheers from every student. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This Christmas Vacation was to be started differently from other ones in the past. Miss Stacy had planned a Christmas celebration that day for the children, every student brought delicious baked goods. "Now, I've received permission slips from every student. Shall we go over a few rules?" She asked rhetorically receiving childish boo's. She laughed playfully and began to speak as the class hushed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Be kind." Everyone in the classroom had already obliged, besides Josie Pye of course. "I trust you told all of your parents these things before you had them sign the paper." All the children's faces went red a little before the entire classroom burst out into childish laughter. Miss Stacy brushed it off. "Everyone is to stay on school grounds until the day would usually end." Everyone nodded in agreement. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"I'll be watching you all very carefully." Miss Stacy stated along with a smirk and wink to ensure the students that she wouldn't listen in on any conversations. "Now go on into your groups!" The children obliged. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While Anne quickly redirected her body towards ruby and the other girls she felt a familiar hazel eyed gaze on her back. It was Gilbert Blythe, in no way trying to hide his adoring stare. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Everyone listen, we're going to play a game." Announced Josie, speaking over everyone's side conversations. She gathered everyone's attention and continued to speak. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"What game Josie?" Moody questioned rightfully. Before Josie had the opportunity to answer, she was rudely interrupted by Jerry Baynards arrival. "I brought the pastries!" He assured, setting them down and rushing to the huddle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ordinarily he wouldn't be invited to a school event but he offered to bring supplies so everyone welcomed him happily. "Continue Josie." Moody suggested. Everyone regrouped and tightened the circle, Anne felt Gilbert's presence close behind her. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"It doesn't have a name but basically-" before Josie could finish her sentence she was cut off by the questioning of young Charlie Sloan. "Why doesn't it have a name?" He asked curiously. "Because I just made it up." Everyone nodded as she continued. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Basically!" She said aggravated, finally getting her statement out. "You spin the bottle, and the person to your left gets to decide what you have to do with the person it lands on. They can make you kiss." Before She had finished listing the options there were loads of snickers coming from every direction. "Go into the supply room for seven minutes alone, with the lights off, or I get to slap you!" She said happily. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Why you?" Questioned everyone in the group besides Ruby. "Because it's my game!" She shouted in anger, they all backed down. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The group moved into a circle towards the back of the classroom, far away from Miss Stacy and the children of different ages. Everyone in the huddle agreed to the game, in the circle sat, Josie, Tillie, Ruby, Anne, Diana, Jane, Billy, Charlie, Moody, Jerry and Gilbert. In no particular order. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Who goes first?" Questioned Billy seated between ruby and Moody. Anne felt a sudden rush of anxiety afraid her and the Blythe boy would have to kiss or go into the closet. "Jerry!" Josie declared. "Think of it as our little welcome present to you." Josie said as a smirk slid across her face. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Jerry followed and spun the bottle, Josie's smug look faded away as he bottle landed on her. The person seated next to Jerry was Diana, everyone waited eagerly for Diana's decision. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Kiss!" ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Snickers erupted from everyone in the circle. "Wait!" Ruby shouted. The girl harbored feelings for Jerry and had no other plan after that. "Um, move the desks so the teacher can't see?" She suggested trying to cover her tracks. This stalled the kiss slightly, in that time Ruby shot a worried some look at Jerry. The French boy winked at her freckles face. Her checks turned a rosy red color impossible to hide, she bit back a grin and stirred romantically at the ground. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"I hate my life!" Josie moaned quietly while scooting closer to Jerry. Everyone sat still an quiet as the two were in the circle. Minutes went by and nothing had happened. The only noise was a sultry sigh that escaped Josie's lips while they both starred uncomfortably at the ground. "Oh come on already!" Egged on Billy from behind Jerry. While Josie went to give a dirty look to him Jerry reluctantly grabbed her face and kissed her quiet romantically. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To everyone's surprise, the kiss lasted at least seven seconds, Josie had even reached for his face in return. The smooching Denison has ended when ooo's and other gawking noise escaped the boys lips. As the two went back to there seats Josie smiled at Jerry. Jerry playfully winked back and chucked under his breath. A chuckle that soon went away when he saw the devastated look on Rubys face. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Gilbert, it's your turn, Gil? Gilbert!" Shouted Billy, pulling Gilbert out of his trans. He was starring obliviously at Anne. "Yes I apologize." He flashed a boyish Smile towards the group catching Anne's eye. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Anne shivered as his hands touched the bottle. 'He has suck strong hands and, his eyes are so sparkly when the sunshine hit them, they're enrapturing. Wait- wait no Anne stop it!' She scorned herself in her mind. The bottle roared round and round until it reluctantly landed on himself. "No that doesn't count, spin again!" Demanded Billy. Usually Josie would be the one to demand so rudely however she was still gazing romantically at Jerry. However Jerry was starring at the freckles upon Rubys face. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
He once again spun the bottle, this time Anne was so overflown with emotions she couldn't even bare to see who it had landed on. The circle fell silent. She wondered what could be keeping the crowd so quiet. She opened her yes to see the bottle facing-
