Author Note/ Introduction

*Feel free to read until the end for a warning, playlist, synopsis, and other important info*

Hello readers! I'm Maddie. It would be best if I did a little introduction and told you about myself and how this story came to be. It's been a long time since I've fixed anything in this story, so bear with me for the many mistakes.

I began writing this in fifth grade. It was a short story about bullying, nowhere near as close as to the events that happen in this story. I finished the book here on Wattpad during my freshman year of high school in 2015 and edited the last draft my sophomore year.  I am now in the mental health field and trying to bring this book back to life again with intensive edits and much more education. I know this book is nowhere near perfect, but since it grew on me through these years, I hope you all fall in love with the characters and their stories the same way I did for the past 12 years.

I decided to unpublish this story and rewrite some of the characters and events that happens. I realize that I was way too young to be speaking on certain topics, but now I can bring the characters to life through experience and what I have learned. I began writing a sequel (you'll know why at the end of this story), and I absolutely fell in love with the ideas that came from it so once this is done, that will be out to:) To all new viewers, welcome, enjoy, and don't forget to share and tell people about it. To all my old viewers who might get a notification about my updating (like right now), a big thank you for your support and reading. I can't wait for what this story will become, and I hope you guys love it.

Synopsis

Lyndsee Thompson: 22 years old. Brown hair, Brown eyes. After years of being institutionalized, she tried to reintegrate into society and start a college career with the help of her clinical team. People are afraid of what she is capable of due to the nature of her history, and the actions of others eventually take over her mental health.

Fabiola Sanchez: 21 years old. Dirty blonde wavy hair, hazel eyes. She's the new girl, who constantly has to move due to her mother wanting to start over. She doesn't know why events, places, and people in her life keep changing, but she tries her hardest to adapt to a new beginning in this new small town.

Adam Avila: 24 years old. Dark Brown Hair, Brown eyes. He's a graduate student who is also a part of the college baseball team. He had been severely bullied (physically and mentally) since he was thirteen in middle school, and he could never make up why. The terrorizing followed him to college in this small town and led to negative consequences.
