China Doll

A smile painted on her face,
Lifeless eyes stare into space.
Statuesque beauty, with elegance and grace,
But if you touch her wrong, she's sure to break.
She sits upon her lonely shelf
All alone, nobody else.
A passerby might stop to see
But they're scared to touch her, how fragile she must be!
She's seen some pain and has been hurt too.
Stood by helplessly and watched.
What could she possibly do,
It was nothing she could stop.
She wants nothing more to be shown some type of love.
But up on her shelf, she must watch from above.
