Y/n's eyes scanned the storefront as they looked at the many necklace chains displayed around. Rubbing their eyes and yawning, they approached a set of thin gold chain and gently lifted it up to inspect it

"I don't think gold is really your style," A familiar feminine voice said

"Jenny!" Y/n jumped a bit as they turned around

"Hey, Y/n!" Jenny laughed as she put her hand on their shoulder, "Chill, it's just me,"

"Sorry," Y/n laughed a bit as they relaxed

"Jeez. You look rough," Jenny commented, "When's the last time you slept?"

"I dunno," Y/n mumbled as they ruffled their hair, "It's been a long week,"

"You look like you need a drink," Jenny laughed, "Wanna hit the bar tonight? You've got a fake ID, right?"

"Nah, sorry. I don't," Y/n told

"Well, Buck's got this whole fancy set up. He can get you one. Even at a discount for being a friend," Jenny winked

"Heh... I'll have to call him up," Y/n smiled weakly, "So, what chain do you think I should get... For this," Y/n said as they showed the crystal

"Didn't you have a silver one before? I thought that looked pretty good," Jenny told

"The last one broke," Y/n explained

"Let's look at the silver ones. I think that's your best bet," Jenny said as she took Y/n's wrist and dragged them to the opposite side of the shop where several different styles of silver chains were displayed with bright lights, "Let's skip the links... Those are just tacky... Ooh, how about this one? Looks just like a rope made of silver,"

"Hmm," Y/n hummed as they moved over to the display and picked the chain up in their hand, it looked just thin enough for their pendant to slip onto it nicely, "I like it,"

"Alright, sounds like a done deal then," Jenny laughed, "I'll text Buck and have him meet us over at the old factory so we can get you all set up with an ID,"

"Sounds good," Y/n smiled as they grabbed the chain from the display

"That ain't too expensive is it?" Jenny asked as she looked down at her phone

"Nope," Y/n said as they headed towards the counter

"How'd your last chain break?" Jenny asked

"...Someone was just playing with it and it snapped," Y/n told

"Heh, I guess it's not a good idea to let other people touch your stuff," Jenny joked

"I guess not," Y/n laughed softly

"Buck said he'd meet us in ten minutes," Jenny told as Y/n put the chain in the counter softly

"Great," Y/n said as they pulled out a credit card and handed it to the cashier

"Yeah, might wanna save the cash for Buck" Jenny laughed

------

"Alright, how's this picture look?" Buck asked as he tapped on his computer

"That's good, I think," Y/n nodded as they looked at the picture Buck had taken in front of an authentic looking background

"So, let's do a fake name," Buck said, "You can keep your first just in case a friend shouts your name or something... But the last name has gotta go. Anything in mind?"

"...Universe," Y/n said

"Heh, like Steven?" Buck laughed as he typed

"Yeah, if I get caught I'd rather have to deal with Greg than Mr. Fryman," Y/n chuckled
