IX ~ The First Show

Start from the beginning

"Can I talk to you for a sec? We can keep walking. It's just kinda important." Frank asked while looking nervous.

"Of course. What's up?" I replied.

"So, if you haven't noticed, Gee is a heavy alcoholic. And, no one can ever convince him to get a grip on himself and slow down. I'm really afraid that one day he'll over do it and end up in a casket." Damn. That's harsh. "But somehow you can convince him not to take a drink. Now, I'm not saying that he can never drink again, but I just want him to slow down." Frank took a deep breath to recollect his thoughts. "Basically what I'm trying to say is I don't want to see my best friend drop hard over alcohol. So I was hoping you could help him slow down. Like if you've noticed hes had a few, just tell him to stop. Or tell him to drink something else. None of us can do that like you can. You just have some sort of impact on him."

I have an impact on Gee? How? I'm just some girl that he picked up off the street. Maybe he still has feelings for me? I don't think so. I doubt it.

"I never thought that I'd have an impact on Gee. But yeah of course. It's hurt too many people if he crashed like that. I don't want to see that happen to him. He's really been there for me since I first met him." I explained, thinking back to him saving me from killing myself. Frank seemed to look confused at me mentioning it. I sighed and decided to tell him what I meant.

"The first night I met the boys, it wasn't because I had missed the bus. Gee saved me from killing myself." Frank's eyes widened. "I tried running in front of a moving car but he grabbed me and pulled me back before I was hit."

"So that's what Gee meant." Frank mumbled to himself.

"Wait what?"

"He was yelling at Mikey that day at the arcade and said something about you being suicidal."

"Great. Not how I wanted you guys to find out but oh well." I sighed. Frank stopped me from walking forward and made me face him.

"I don't care about you're past, y/n. As long as you're better now that's all I care about." Frank said sincerely.

"Thanks Frank. That's in the past. I have a new family of friends to take care of me." I smiled as I continued to walk forward towards the group. We caught back up with them right as we walked inside.

"You guys need to go straight to soundcheck." Some manager guy said to the boys as soon as we walked in.

"Okay. We'll go set up." Gee said while walking over to the stage area.

"You can follow me to the boy's dressing room." The manager motioned for me to follow him. He handed me and the boys passes before we parted ways.

The dressing room was nice. Lots of snacks. Luckily I didn't see any alcohol around. What Frank said to me earlier really hit hard. I can't even imagine Gee hitting rock bottom like that. I just hope I never have to see it.

~Time skippy to concert~

The boys were called to stage to start the show. I stayed backstage so I had a side view of the guys. Luckily I was on the side where Mikey was closer to so I got to see him clearly.

"Have fun out there babe." I said to Mikey while giving him a kiss before he walked out on stage. The fans were screaming for them to come out. He smirked before walking out.

"Try to contain you're fan girl screams."

"I'll try my best." I joked. He smiled and walked out onto stage.

"How are you mother fuckers doing tonight?" Gerard yelled into the mic, getting even louder screams in return. "I can't fucking hear you!" Screams so loud that a few people around me covered their ears erupted. Gee laughed as the band began playing "Teenagers".
